Well I still have no clue where mine is. Called DoS today, still no news, I got the canned "wait 60 days" response. I just emailed Montreal and asked for updates. I wanna be enjoying this "summer" not sitting around worrying all the time.

Man, that sucks. I feel for you. It just puts such a damper on your last moments back home.

Im sure you'd have a different perspective if you knew when you'd be getting it, and you could make the best of this time before leaving.

Try to still enjoy yourself and this time with friends and family, because I dont see why you wouldnt get your visa, and when you get it, things will be happening fast!

Im keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I haven't seen my fiance since the interview date and I won't again until June 4 when I am done with all my teaching assignments for the year and can head to Canada to help him pack.

I know they said up to 2 weeks for delivery, but it seemed recently they were getting them in the mail in a couple days. Till me, 7 days later, and still no hits on the tracking number, how disappointing :(

Although it does seem they put them in the mail sometime on Fridays for some odd reason.

It took longer for my fiance's package to get back. They put it in the mail the next Monday a week after his interview, then it arrived at his workplace on Tuesday morning and he is in Ontario so it didn't have far to go. Since Monday is a U.S. holiday, maybe next Tuesday? I totally stressed for the whole week checking Canada Post. I was on edge the whole time. My fiance' was much more "relaxed" about it. I just wanted to know that he had his visa in hand.

My POE was the easiest entry in the USA i have ever had. They took my fingerprints, snapped a picture, asked when i was getting married. Asked me 5 or more times if the address was still correct because that is the number one problem. Apparently people change addresses and dont get their GC. Once in secondary the guy in there was REALLY nice. Asked when and where i was getting married. Told me it might take a few extra minutes because he had only ever done one K1 and it was some years ago (I POE'ed through Halifax Airport and had originally asked the first CBP person if they got many visas because i hadnt seen anyone on here from my neck of the woods - she said a few). Anyway, buddy in secondary didnt take more than 10 minutes and was one of the nicest people i have ever dealt with in an airport.

Once done customs that is when things went south. HAHAH. My airplane was coming from Newark and had to turn around for medical reasons. Then once in the air they realized they didnt have enough gas so they stopped in Fredericton, NB to refuel. THEN they had to wait for some thunder storms to pass. My flight ended up being 5 hours late leaving that airport. This put my in Newark three hours past when my connecting flight left and over 8 hours before the next one would leave.

I ended up getting here 12 hours later than i was supposed to, not the end of the world. I was extremely tired but it wasnt so bad considering i have been traveling back and forth for 6 years and this was the first time i had a major delay.

All is well, so very happy to be "home" Right now i am just waiting to apply for my SSN and decide what to do for the wedding. We're not doing anything too amazing as it's just to meet the 90 day rule. We plan on having something more fancy later on.

Oh, and Bev i have my toes crossed for you. Here's hoping you get some good news very soon!

Hi everyone....

I had a few questions and hoped someone could give me some insight.

1st, not sure what all the codes are that people are using.....what are all the packages?

We sent our 129-F in, on Dec.7th they received it.

In May, we received notice that our visa was approved.

June 2nd, we receive a letter saying that our stuff was sent to Montreal and we should wait. It also said that I (the one moving to the States), would be receiving a packet with instructions.

As of today, we still have not received anything....when I called the Montreal consulate, it said there's a wait of 5-7 months.....is that really how long it will take to receive my interview???

Can anyone explain what my next steps will be??? Thank you....this is taking so long and it is so confusing!
