Hello,

I am just wondering if we should use a Co-Sponsor for the I -134, we were not going too, but I am not sure what to do.

My Fiance only has a full tax transcript for the 2009 year and it is above poverty guidelines for the two of us, it’s in the 31.000 range without deductions for that year. He also has a tax transcript for about 3-4 months pay in his 2008 tax year. Plus his pay so far from this 2010 year, he got all his pay stubs.

I’m worried because we don’t have 3 years of transcripts to provide. Would this be a problem if we don’t use a co-sponsor?

Does it matter how much money you have saved up in your bank account? What would be considered a good amount?

It would help a lot to hear some input.

Thanks in advance!

Is your fiancé currently earning what he was in 2009? If so, and he has proof of this (such as pay-stubs), you should be fine. Meeting the minimum is based on current income, you do not have to have consistently made this amount in previous years. If this helps.

just make sure when you near your interview, you get an updated letter from his employer stating he is still currently employed on a full time permanent basis and currently makes x amount of $$. I would bring with me the last few pay stubs as well up to your interview.
