First is Uscis: Document production

Timeline

On the 8th we recieve a letter giving our uscis tracking number and note stating our package was recieve at the entry port where spouse entered and has been forwarded and you should hear from us in 30days. Checked the status on uscis website on the 13th and said that the card production was ordered on 12th and checking on uscis website again today it said On March 16, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this OS155A IMMIGRANT VISA AND ALIEN REGISTRATION.

Can somebody please tell us what all of this is about or what is going on?
