i read a lot of topics here about taking the medical exam without the appointment letter, just NOA2 from USCIS and the MNL case number will suffice, i also read somewhere that one of the applicant took her medical exam in advance(2 months advance) but had a problem at the interview, the CO said she didn't have her medical result yet, she lost her medical result and had to searched it, that's why she didn't got her visa approved right away.. i know that everyone here including me wants to take the medical in advance because we just wanna make sure we'll pass our medical especially the so called sputum test.. i just wanna know when is the right time to take the medical exam??

I had my medical exam exactly a week before my interview. That was the right time for me.

IMO, you are the best person to decide when the proper time for your medical exam is.

All the best for the rest of your journey!

You can take the medical with a copy of the NOA2 and a copy of the letter from the NVC with the MNL number on it.

By the time we received our letter from NVC we already had an appointment set because I have no patience lol.

You can also take your appointment letter that they email to you after you set your appoinment. They ask you when you set the appt. if the medical is done and schedule the appt. for 1 week from the medical so they have enough time to clear the papers to the embassy for your appointment.

I wouldn't recommend doing it earlier than after receiving the notice from the NVC or with an appointment letter, it's likely to get lost if it's not "tied" to your case.

Best of luck.

For me, I would suggest to take it after before lunch. I was there before 12 noon, and done in just 2 hours.

As long as you know your Case number, passport, you should be good. :)

Good luck.
