I recently received 5 touches on my AOS application (last one being March 15) but the status has not changed. Just wondering if anyone has had this experience and then received an approval in the mail? Perhaps it was an approval but they just forgot to change the status (since that's what happened with my AP)? Thanks!

sounds typical to me of USCIS. they have been known to do that even for other petitions. some status's never even get updated. I would hope that many touches in a row would mean an noa2.

you can try calling them i guess...although i still shudder at the though of speaking to the mis-communication line to this day lol.

I tried it and the IO told me that the case was still pending and she said the next step is to have an interview since I came on a K1. I asked whether it was at CSC, and she said yes, but you need to go for an interview. I don't think she really knows what she's talking about....

I think if I need an interview, I'd have one scheduled by now.

** moving from "Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports" to "Adjustment of Status (Green Card) from Family Based Visas" as the prior forum is for case updates/progress and this one is for questions**
