Need Packet 3 Help

Hello All,

I'm trying to make a list of the forms i'll need to fill out once I get the Packet 3, so i'll be ready to send them in. Here is what I got so far:

- Form DS-230 Part 1

- Form DS-160 (Do you do this one online or print it out?)

- Form DS-156K

- Form DS-156 (Two Copies)

Plus the check list.

Should I wait to get my police clearance or should I go ahead and get it now?

I'll be sending this packet 3 to the montreal consulate, If i'm missing something or something is not right please let me know.

In the Embassy section (for Montreal) LINK is pretty up to date. This would be a great resource for you.

Am sure there will be posters who are able to give more specific comments too.

Otto and Karin are correct. The embassy info is up to date for the Montreal Consulate. Police reports are generally good for one year. so you can go ahead and do it now if you want or wait til you get your p3.

Hello, I'm very confused. I sent the I-129 with the I-134 to my Fiance in Kuwait. Not clear on this,what is Packet#3 is it something that I need to do or my Fiance need to complete? Do I need to put in a request for his visa? Please someone help me with this.

Hi, once the k-1 approval leaves the NVC it goes to your fiance's consulate(which it looks like they already have it by the looks of your timeline). They will send him a packet 3 with forms he will have to fill out and send back with a checklist of things he will need to have done for the interview.

I'm not sure if it is any different at a kuwait consulate.
