I signed a i-864 for my then wife (now x) in 2002 when she became a permanent resident. Now I have a Mexican fiance and I want to do a K-1 for her.

What problems will this pose? Will it come up at the adjustment-of-status interview? My x is receiving State benefits, and I am definitely not supporting her (just child support). She has probably worked 30 of the 40 qualifying quarters).

I have read all of the i-864 instructions, but what is REALLY going to happen with this? Will they probe my x? or will this cause a problem for me? I make 50,000 a year and my fiance has a child.

Pleas Help!
