what will be with children?

Hello for everyone.

Today I have another very importand question to ask.

My husband is an Adam Walsh Act petitioner. So far my case is not moving and to be realistic I understand that denial may happen.

We have a daughter together and today we found out that I'm pregnant with a 2nd child. Both children are american citizen by birth. So, he doesn't petition for them. If I'm denied and have to leave, what happens next? Is it really that simple: I have to leave because he supposely poses risk to me, adult wife of his, but his 2 little children will stay with him because they are not under the same law?

I wonder, in case of denial will I have time to get through divorce process and child custody battle? Will I be given time for it?

Sincerely, k.

Although I don't know legally, I don't feel the usa would take the Mother of her childern away, and send her off because they feel the husband is a "threat" while leaving the kids with him.

I just don't see them tearing apart a family, that would be compelety immoral of them to do so. I would not divorce, don't let some agency try to destroy your family! They have no right! I would contiune to fight

Normally, in the usa during divorces and things such as that, they always side with the women and children. I wouldn't see this case as being any different, but then again, I think reasonably and I don't know if they do
