hi, everyone, what are your thoughts on sending the packet 3 to the consulate before they mail it to you, to speed things up little, provided that they do have your file with a case number. Are there any risks involved.

thanks

No no no and no. Absolutely not.

Figured I should add my reasons.

1. You don't even know if they have the file yet

2. They ask for a fee (in Australia at least) and the amount changes based on the currency rate at the time of sending it

3. They actually email you a form/link to a form that needs to be included with P3

Even if those things (2 and 3) are country specific it is definitely not a good idea and it won't speed up anything. It will only succeed in you losing time while looking for it, or the documents you sent.

** moving from "K-1 Fiance(e) Case Filing and Progress Reports" to "K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures" to as the prior forum is for case updates/progress and this one is for questions**
