Review of my interview

My husband got there at 6:00 with his sister they both had an interview same day.at the border they were not letting some people in cuz of the problems there right now, they turned away lot of people who had interviews. when he got there he showed the people at the boarder his pass and his interview letter they told him "No, come back tommarow" he told them i cant i have my interview. then his sister came and told them. he is with me we both have an interview. Then they let him pass. he got to the Embassy a 8:30 they gave him his number and he waited. When his name was called he went to the window and was told place you hand on the glass and swear your telling the truth, so he did. they asked him

When did you meet

how long have you known her

Did she ever come here

what are you planning to work there

were do you plan to live

when did you start to realy know her.

The he asked my husband why do you want to go to america he told him cuz he cant live without my wife, ill die without her. And the counsler laughed. lol

They he looked at the wedding pictures and are picture and asked were were they taken and said they were beautiful pictures. then he looked and the emails, text messages and such. ans he was reading them and asked the translaer to read the ones written in arabic. and he would laugh and some of them. Then on the messages LULU was written and counsler said whats your wifes name my husband said Muslimqueen and he said why is lulu written there and my husband said thats my pet name for her, to which he laughed again.

Then the put everything in a big box folder and said all we need is a letter hand written by your wife saying that is not required to file for taxes and let her sign it. my husband looked worried so he told him Dont worry its routen it nothing your papers are 100% give us the letter and then 3 days or the most a week we will call you to send us the passport and we will mail you the visa.

I already sent him the letter and on friday he will send it so i hope by wensday next week we will hear some good news.

My sister in law also went she has a 3 month old they told her we can give you a visa but youll have to go without your son. The did not give her interview her or anything. they said her husband has to start the Visa prosses for her son.

All in All it was a Great interview. As long as they hurry and get are visa out its fine.

Hopefully you do get the visa soon. I think it'll go well for you. That sucks for your sister-in-law though. I think that they should let kids of such a young age immigrate with their parents without a visa in that situation. Then make their parents file for them in the U.S.

What do you think? That the 3-month old is a terrorist.

I'm really surprised you did not have the letter prepped and sent off with the I-864.

Congratulations, MQ!!

I have to say, though, be a little cautious...don't celebrate until you get that visa. Can you believe that I was put in AP, and I only found out when I called to see why I hadn't got my passport back yet?

First of all, sorry for not replying to your PM - I know I got something from you but it was deleted in the changeover and I've not been able to retrieve it :(

Nope, no information - that would be too helpful!! It'll be four weeks on Monday...any news about your husband's army release?
