Got our NOA2 e-mail/text notice today.

After 100 long days.

So f*cking happy.... going to get sh!tfaced tonight for sure.

Thank you, everyone, for helping me keep my sanity over this period

Now I have to go get drunk and burn the house down.....or I can clean too, I guess

Instead of spending that money on getting drunk, allow yourself one drink and then save the rest of the money so you can get drunk together after she's here. There's nothing like having both shoes tossed at you, a drink (still in the glass) thrown at you from across the pool table, and then waking up with hot wax all over your body. Good times!

Yeah, it was cold by the time I woke up. I had no idea she'd poured it on me til I pieced it back all CSI-like. "So there's wax on me. Where the hell did that come from? What did I... wait a minute. She was all pissed off at me and..... yep. She poured hot wax on me while I was sleeping." Case closed.

Flashed me right back to the time I stood in the shower under the cold water trying to figure out why the Jerkins I was using suddenly turned my entire lower body to fire..... "why does this lotion smell like icy-hot?" Case closed.

Hey I am all excited now!! I was wondering if there was any way to call the embassy and make the interview date a bit earlier then 1 month... if not its ok I am just wondering.. would it hurt to ask?

You can always ask, but they never do it. They'll move it out for you, if you need some extra time to get documents and travel arrangements ready, but I can't recall a single instance of the Moscow embassy ever moving an interview up. But don't worry, as the date gets closer you might even find yourself wishing you had just a few extra days. It happens REALLY fast!

Now onto frantically calling NVC.... couple of people in our Dec thread had NVC turn their petitions around in 2 days.... (NOA2 to "sent to consulate" in 2!!! days)
