Tying ratings to posts rather than users makes a lot more sense to me. Because then you're tying the value to *what* is said, rather than *who* says it.

Then why did you suggest that the plus/minus post rating system be changed?

The whole rating of posts in the upper forums doesn't really seem like a good idea to me. A lot of people might "like" a certain post, that really doesn't mean that the post contains accurate info.

And as I_Quit pointed out, you can have a post with great info that never gets rated. I would hate for someone to think that the info is wrong simply because no one has botehred to positively rate it.

In an effort to make Visa Journey less rude and more tolerant, instead of pluses and minuses, we should have pizzas and hamburgers. Also, all usernames should be randomly re-assigned on a weekly basis. We should only have the happy face and lol icons, and moderators should only be allowed to adopt puppies and kittens instead of removing posts and suspending members. Everybody's signature should be replaced with all of the guides, so that everybody's questions will be answered in every post, and every flag should be replaced with the UN flag.
