From the consulate's website I take it that you have a walk-in physician for your medical exams in Manila.

Here's the info according to the website:

Applicants are advised to have their medical examinations done at least one week before their interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy in Manila.

SLMCEC is located at 1177 J. Bocobo Street, Ermita, Manila. They can be reached by telephone at 521-0020 and 521-8647. SLMCEC is open from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It is best to arrive for your medical examination between 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Applicants are served on a first come first served basis, but the order of release of the medical reports will depend on the complexity of the results of the medical examination.

Your situation is tricky. Go to that clinic asap and get it over with! Maybe you're lucky and it'll work out in the next 2 days...

I'm not sure about this but maybe you can reschedule the interview appointment?? Does anyone know?

All the best!

It won't let me edit twice.... I just found this info:

Sometimes, your medical exam may not be ready in time for your visa interview. If your medical exam is not ready, the consular officer will put your case on hold until your medical exam is received. In some cases, the clinic may give the results to you to take to the Consulate information window. Do NOT open the sealed packet or you will need to retake the exam.

Either way, I'm sure you'll be fine!

DUDE - her profile says Thailand and your sending her Manilla information! :bonk:

I'm not very familiar with Thailand medical process, sometimes its possible to interview and send medial results after. It would most likely be an RFE, but only for the lack of the medical results. Or you can request a change in date. Best leave this to someone who knows the Thailand process better.

You can do the medical today if you want. Go to one of the two hospitals & they will walk you thru the process. You will be given the results the same day within a few hours of the testing. You dont need the instructions; they are very familier with what needs to be done. If you have questions about the medical testing call the hospital.

If you cant be at the interview on the date they gave you try to call & email them to obtain a date that works for you. You dont have to have the medical done prior to the interview. You could do it & return the documents to the embassy, after which they will issue the actual visa. It takes about 3 days to put the visa in your passport after your interview.

Thank you so much. Last night, decided to take the bus from Uttaradit to Bangkok about 7 hours. Got in Bumrungrad Hospital about 6 am and start to do the medical about 8. Wow, that was quick. Thought would take like 2 days or what. waiting for the result so I guess could go for my interview tomorrow.

I always expect the interview would be like 2 to 3 weeks but never expect for 2 days. Im really shocked of and course stress too. But anyways, have to do it step by step. Thank you so much...
