Teya, I guess that's your definition of LUCKY.. For me Lucking would be not having to go through this process at all. lol But I dont mind standing in line if all things are equal. We all have to deal with ANTISIPATION, FRUSTRATION & in the end hopefully EXUBERATION. :dance: Most of us have dealt with the first 2 haha. Now our time in near... Good Luck to ALL. In the mean time I am loading my Kayak up for my weekend ride (SAT &SUN)on the Caney River. Its not fast but its cool and clear...

I see people refer to NVC as "hell" as well as AP being "hell". The latter I imagine is truly awful. Like waiting for the NOA2 all over again :P. I think waiting to see whether I'm moving to Peru or not is "hell." I don't think NVC is that bad unless you think that you are going to make a certain month for interviews and then it gets pushed back a month or two. That must surely suck. Looks like I'm no where near close to being able to send off either set of papers. When I say no where near, I mean at least the end of July is not August for one set of papers. :bonk::bonk: - wish I could do that to my husband right now! Anyway, good luck to the rest of those still waiting for their NOA2's!!!!

Teya - that's when i am hoping to get my NOA2. Around End of July to early August (that would be my 4 month wait period). I hope you get everything straightened out before and that you an interview in august or september.

LOL!!! Hope not. Hope you are out of there by then. Lets see when i get something. I haven't seen or heard from USCIS about the name thing of my wife. Hopefully nothing needs to be done but you know I just wait and watch.

The average days between NOA1 and NOA2 is 76 days. Friends, I speak the truth. To calculate the average, I disregarded anything that took less than 50 days. Those are either extremely lucky folks or incapable of properly filling in their timeline.

This data came from Igor's List. Booyah.

Only people who got their NOA1 in 2010.

Keep in mind that you are averaging for all of 2010 but that in March and April the number of receipts at CSC went up about 25%, so that may explain some of the delays. Hopefully in a couple of more weeks we will all be in NVC.

friends...need your opinion. My USC spouse and in-laws filled out my i130 form and while doing it, they did not mention my 10 months of foreign stay in 2007. they didnt think it was important :(

Now while filling up ds-230, how do i go about? There will be an obvious mismatch between the I130 details and DS-230. What you think they are gonna do to us? Any way out?
