hey guys and gals! pls dont get stressed out, im sure USCIS are doing their job, so dont worry, we'll all get there :star:

here are some tips while waiting for our approval, hope this helps..

1. Exercise

This is one of the best ways to help you relax. If you’re stressed or tensed, exercising is a great way to let off the steam. You don’t need to go to the gym either, you can even do with playing games such as table tennis, badminton or squash etc. Playing games early in the morning also does wonders for your motivation and keeps your charged up all day.

2. Healthy Diet

A high intake of Vitamin C in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grain cereals keeps you healthy and fit while reducing your stress to the minimum. You may want to eat chocolate cakes, ice cream or addictive stimulants like caffeine but you must AVOID them because they will only add to your stress.

3. Laugh Out Loud

Laughter is probably the best medicine in the world. It relieves stress, increases blood flow and helps release chemicals that can kill stress in minutes. You can buy or rent some funny movies or go out for a comedy show. In any case, make laughter a part of your daily laugh. It makes your world bright and stress free.

4. Deep Breathing

There are a lot of ways to practice deep breating. One of the more popular methods is alternative nostril breating. To do this, close the right nostril with your thumb and breathe in through the left one. Now close the left nostril with the middle finger, and breathe out through the right nostril. Immediately breathe in again through that same (right) nostril, and exhale through the left. You can do this anywhere and everywhere. It is a very quick way to relieve stress.

5. Smell the Roses

Keep a positive and happy attitude all the time. Go out there and enjoy life, visit the places you’ve always wanted to. The key is to break away from your daily routine and try new things that keep your attention diverted.

I believe some one misspoke here and confused everyone. There were some approvals after the date of March 1st but not recently. As far as is updated, the current approvals are lingering around March 1st.

I now officially "love" the post office. They just called for a follow up on my missing priority mail, "They tell you 2-3 days but isn't guaranteed. You might just have to be a little more patient." Ummm ok...2 weeks for get across the country for a service that you pay extra for.... :bonk: Patient my behind. Thank good I did not send orginal documents. :ranting: I think I'm going to have to reprint it out and sent it regular mail. Who wants to bet it will get there before the supposed priority mail...I'm not paying for the packet to go FedEx because I know the answer on the other end is no, so why pay that much for a crummy answer?

Thanks for that March2010. that will be helpful for everyone. That March 9th approval was May 26th. I wouldn't take that as a sign that March 9th and so on are getting approved right now, but rather the 3 or 4 March 1st that have been approved recently as a sign of more or less where they are. Thanks for the relaxation tips hunniraine!

You win some kudos from me. I don't mean to be a jerk but try doing something that will be a little more like giving the man a net so he can fish, rather than giving him a fish or, in your case, toothbrush and candies. Next time you go, why not make a pledge that you will make sure a street kid goes to school for 3 years. Pay his school fee, book price, etc. Buy him the school uniform and etc. There are local NGO's that will gladly take on this task on your behalf. You'll be make a real and tangible change in his or her life. You light up one child's life with education, you light up a nation down the line. Who knows that kid my find cure for cancer one day or be the first human on Mars.

Usually you must go into the community, village or barangay to make a difference in that way. I try to help those in the community where my in-laws reside. Providing Books, book bags, notebooks and pencils and sacks of rice for the family (if the family has plenty rice it's less likely the child is needed for work). Education is key, but in some situations opportunity for quality education is lacking. In some parts of the philippines, for example, like Metro Manila, Cebu, Davao, there are quality schools that provide a decent education, but there are other places, many on Mindinao Island, that are lacking in basic fundamentals of education. Many youth in my wife's home barangay see school as a useless waste of time as they can see no examples around them of success that came from going to school. Often families don't force the child to go to school because they can use the help of earning even a few pesos a day. I haven't yet figured out how to begin attacking that problem in my wife's home barangay, but we agreed that it will be our focus and mission after our visa process is completed.

Wow I dont need to go anywhere I can learn everything here. Visa consulting, relaxation therapy, new computer skills, ways of the world the possibilities are endless. Need a shot of Cyber Beer lol. Well I can clown around cause I dont have many worries anymore other than staying healthy and over time we all get ill as part of getting older.

I am not concerned with NOA2 yet cause my wife is still getting her Police Records from NBI. Oh yes I told her 3 or so months ago to start working on that...:whistle: Now if I ask why then I'm the bad guy...:hehe: Dooh  But being as we still have lots of time I am okay with it. I have a question :help: I read on other forums that people are getting Biometric processing done after NOA1. I saw something about it on my NOA1 but I never received a notice for an appointment. Have any petitioners here gone through a Biometric procedure? Or fingerprinting?

It's data based. VJ takes the averages from the timelines people fill out and makes the prediction for you. So the more people have timeline with more accurate data, the more accurate this is going to be.
