haha.....my wife has never even flown in a plane before. The ride alone is atleast 10 hrs... Now, here is the kicker.... She lives in Fortaleza, BR, very tropical year round, like the Philippines. 85-90 every day, 74-77 every night. How do you think she is going to feel when the first snowflake falls in CT? lol....

Oh yeah! I forgot all about that. My wife probably has never flown on a plane in her life. Or she might have. Her family has businesses in different cities. Whether she has or not, I'm getting goosebumps thinking about riding with her for 24+ hours to come to America. It's gonna be an experience. I'm going to go get her when she can finally come to America.

I'm debating if I should get a weekend job (since I do nothing on weekends, basically) and buy first-class or business-class tickets on the return leg of that memorable trip. Hey man, how often do I get to spend money for fun? Right, might as well enjoy with SO. But then she'll miss all the hectic-ness of flying. Small leg room, crappy food, crying babies, bad service, etc. You can't be an american without tasting bad airline foods.

Just wanted to update you guys on the fact that the last person to get their NOA2 got their NOA1 on March 14th. Should give you some indication as to where you are in the queue. It's creeping along.

By the way, who is this March 14th one?

PS As of 9/11/2010, USCIS website still not updated, shows NOA-1 date and... blah blah blah. don't count on them folks.

Ok, I need translations from everyone!!! :rofl: I can only send out the translations if I have them. Any volunteers to translate the poem into their/their spouse's native tongue? I try to come up with a game but I have nothing n if we start a game I know it won't last long cause someone always go off the subject so no matter what we will never play a game
