I had some trouble sleeping last night so I ended up on the VJ site. I started reading different posts and ... OMG!!! I didn't know you were excessive compulsive... hahah I saw your posts all over the place. Don't you ever get away from this sight. You were chatting, advising and helping everybody. Mother Theressa...hahaha

I wonder what you will do once you're done with all of this? You might be one of those VJ angels who hangs around and continues helping I am guessing. :thumbs: Well I am sure many will be grateful to you and I can see the list growing over time. :whistle:

It seems as if we filed our petitions a month too late. Looking at Igor's list , it seems like CSC came to a complete stop in May after approving so many in April and March. Could the lack of an I-129F form be an issue? :unsure:

Lets pray it's just a month break and things pick up with full force in July.

Tena- Thanks! I'm glad that you had a safe trip there and back and had a good time with your family to boot. Hopefully that relieved some tensionfrom waiting for the NOA2. Like John has said, hopefully the early Marchers will hear something soon.

Tom-So....bascially you stalked me? :P. J/k. I go on this site (and still stupidly check my time line and then remember I already have my NOA2...I just feel so bored waiting for the NVC case number) and like to try and "help" people who are new or seem like they'd like some help. Since I have the time (and yes, I do have a life...not much of one but still a life none the less) I figure I should do my part. I'd post the same question too except for I read several different posts (as you noticed *blush*) and figure things out from there instead of posting first. That works better for me. Asfar as helping people out, I am just hoping that I don't turn into a person who feels they know it all and pick on the people who post the same question that has been posted 1000004 times already. This site is for getting help from people...so we might as well help. :). I tried looking at a different Immigration site the other day and couldn't do it because you all are my buds and I don't "know" those people so I ditched that site. Oh, I also have time to be on here now since my husband isn't here. He would probably kill me if I were to be on here as much in the future as I am now. "I know you just got here but there are some people who have questions on VJ!"-Speedy dvorce in the works :P.

rvince- The K3 is basically "dead" anyway so there is no point in filing that along with the I-130, unless you really like to fill out extra papers :).

LADYDARE-Welcome! As you posted, hopefully they will pick up soon. I really thought that they were going to start turning out NOA2's quickly again.

Alright gang .. I was looking over some other threads, and now I cannot figure out the answer to this. There are 3 forms:

I-864, Affidavit of Support

I-864EZ, Affidavit of Support, sounds like 1040-EZ :-)

I-134, Affidavit of Support

Which one do I fill out when it comes time for NVC?

What is each one for?

02-24-2010 - I-130 Sent: February 24th, 2010

06-17-2010 - NOA2

Your I-130 was APPROVED in 107 days from your NOA1 date.

06-24-2010 - NVC Case Number Assigned

08-24-2010 - Sign in Fail - Case COMPLETE in 60 days

10-27-2010 - INTERVIEW Riyadh

11-27-2010 - VISA issued

01-06-2011 - POE JFK

01-27-2011 - Welcome letter

01-28-2011 - Green came via Priority mail

01-06-2011 - GC Issue Date

That depends. Is the USC filing alone? Using a joint sponsor? Using a joint sponsor who also resides in their household? All of these forms are different and the answer to the above questions will help determine how many and which ones to fill out.

I read "who can use" the I-864EZ and I can apparently.

One USC sponsoring One Person based on salary only.

The question will be the how about I-134, Affidavit of Support? When and how does that come in?

My husband checked our case status thru uscis site and he found out the result is on the Initial Review. Are you getting into this before you've got your noa2? But the site stated last updated was last march 31, 2010.

10/05/2010: DS-3032 COA emailed to NVC

10/11/2010: IIN received

10/11/2010: AOS review fee ($88) online payment - IN PROCESS

10/14/2010: AOS status 'PAID'

10/16/2010: DS-230 IV fee ($404) online payment - IN PROCESS

10/19/2010: DS-230 IV status 'PAID'

10/20/2010: AOS & DS-230 IV package sent

10/22/2010: AOS & DS-230 IV package delivered. Signed by: J Desmond.
