That was a very wildly unsuccessful and long phone call. The customer service agent was nice and tried to help me and then told me she was going to transfer me (I already knew that much)....then after giving my info (which according to the officer was all correct ......DUHHHHHH cuz I called and e-mail to have it corrected TYVM!!!!!) once again to the officer, I was told that they WILL NOT be sending me a new NOA1 but instead I am waiting for an approval notice (no way...REALLY?...thanks...I had no idea.) and the correct information will be on that. What a gigantic load of help that was. Good thing that number is free or I'd be super ticked that I spent money on a useless call.

So...John, I hope they give you a corrected NOA1 and don't make you wait 3 months just to tell you they won't be sending anything else and to politely BE QUIETTTTTTTT. :P.

So, now I can jut go back to waiting for my NOA2. Too bad he wasn't able to tell me how my case was doing. I hope he doesn't send in a request to burn the case. I was polite and respectful and didn't use a mean tone while talking to him. *Please don't burn my case Mr. Officer Man*

-Checked payment portal for fun (SIF!!!!): 12/3/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

oh wow. That was really messed up. Made you worry for 3 whole months and now they tell you u wont get anything. great. Anyway, that's a good sign atleast. Now just hope for the NOA2 to be in mail for you in the next week or two :)

I just wanted to say hi to my fellow March filers. I am patiently waiting for my NOA2 as well.

Question: When do you expext your spouse to be able to immigrate into the US? With all the information available online, it's been tricky to make a good approximation. 6 months? 9 months? 12 months?

USCIS

11 Mar, 2010: Submit I-130 Package to USCIS (Hired Immigration Lawyer)

22 Mar, 2010: Received by USCIS

30 Mar, 2010: Received NOA1

30 Jul, 2010: Received NOA2

NVC

19 Aug, 2010: AOS & IV fee payment processed

29 Sep, 2010: DS-230/I-864 Entered into NVC System.

19 Oct, 2010: RFE (Beneficiary's Original Birth Cert, Original Marriage Cert, DS-2019 from previous J1 VISA)

02 Nov, 2010: RFE Delivered to NVC (Signed by Desmond)

16 Nov, 2010: Checklist for RFE entered into NVC System (via AVR)

23 Nov, 2010: "Sign In Failed"! Yay!

23 Nov, 2010: Case Complete

07 Dec, 2010: Assigned an interview Date

Right now. I would say another 5-7 months atleast for march filers. If they start approving soon, then this time would be less than 4 months if everything goes right without any RFE.

I hope I don't have any RFE's since we're working with a professional. The main reason we went with a lawyer is to prevent any delays. :thumbs:

yup i saw that too. One way that is good because we wont be looking at it anymore. I dont think there will be any approvals today either. I hope i am really wrong on this but its long weekend. So everyone wants to go home early today.
