Jesal - I would say October because let say u get it approved by June 12...it might take 2 weeks to get it to NVC so that is basically end of June. About month and a half to get through NVC stage. That would be around middle of August and by then they would have already scheduled September interviews. So realistically October assuming no issues at all.

3 months for me would mean June 1st. I'm still waiting on my NOA1. I guess when they said it wait, 10-15, they weren't kidding. :P. I will be giving them a call if I don't receive the NOA1 by May 29th.

I can handle the game being dead. I know we will all rehash the questions we have once we get to the NVC stage. There is no reason that we can't ask questions in this forum though, about our individual issues and where we are. It was more organized the other way...but apparently too boring.

Welcome to the March group Tony.

Hey at least TomD and you tried. I guess people aren't interested right now. I think once few people from March gets their NOA2, then everyone will start asking a lot of questions.

Yea that sounds about right, i forget that it takes time to get to NVC.

All i know is as soon as the interview date is set, im going to book my ticket and fly out few weeks before her interview.

October 11th is her birthday, would be a great gift to get her Visa near that!

That is really nice of you. I think there is a very very good chance of that happening.

By the way, where is she from? Did you get that police certificate from local station resolved?

Isnt that how it always works, you need money or know people to get anything done in India. Blah.

How about your wife? Where she from?

That is sooo true over there. My wife is from Vadodara. I guess your wife and my wife are neighbors :) I have family there that know people there so hopefully she will get her certificate next week and I can receive all the documents by end of June. I dont know if the passport office will provide you the PCC but we can always mention that in our cover sheet that it will be provided at the interview.

I am just enjoying life right now and waiting for her to get here or atleast get the NOA2 so i can go visit her again. I am planning on going there in November anyway but would if possible go there earlier before the interview which i hope can happen soon (high expectations :) .

Awww! I want someone from my country to be a buddy with me! India and The Philippines usually have buddies to help each other out. I wonder if anyone gets together on the interview day. I know the May filers have met up (the foreign SO's) before they had interviews. They also are planning to meet up in Vegas! Crazy!!!!!

You saying my wife likes to shop?!?! Wait... she does. Ha, yea she most likely would know which clothing shop it is.

Vadodara is really nice. We always go there when I visit since we have many friends there. I tend to get bored in Anand.

Which embassy are you planning to attend for interview?

So why aren't any of you applying for the K3 ? Given the current situation where I think its taking longer compared to earlier this year - wouldn't it make sense to apply for K-3 as insurance policy ? I am getting scared that the fact they were processing 130 in 60 - 90 days back in Dec, Jan, that now they are stalling and doing other applications. I am sending in my file tomorrow - wish me luck, and good luck to all of you !

Good luck Caliguy. I dont know if K3 is faster than IR1-CR1. It might be the same. Right now K1 is faster than any other but even for that I haven't seen any approvals lately on VJ.

I thought for some reason that there were no more K3's. All K3's were converted to CR1's.
