I just sent an email to Senator’s immigration related lady. I don't think she did a lot. But I sent her a quick thank you note and offered her my expertise in my field of work and study. Hey, it's good to make new bridges and keep them afloat. You never know when I might decide to run for a senator's seat. I'll need a competent staff.

Hello my VJ family, my I130 was approved today. It took exactly 160 days. I am happy.

Unlike many of people, I sent the bare minimum of documents needed to file I130. I didn't include such things as photos, Skype call log, text messages, emails, etc. Only the barest of minimum of things I sent. And my case was approved without any RFE. I hope this gives solace to people who don't want to give their private things to a government agency. This is about principle.

Everyone waiting for their I130 approvals, good luck. You'll get your application approved eventually. Hopefully soon.

20-APR-2010 - Form I-130 mailed

21-APR-2010 - USCIS received I-130

27-APR-2010 - Form I-130 fee cashed

28-APR-2010 - Received USPS return receipt (send for Form I-130)

29-APR-2010 - Touched, as in case was last updated on this day. With what and how, no one knows.

30-APR-2010 - Realized cashed check has case number, NOA1 has been mailed on 27-APR-2010.

30-APR-2010 - Received first Notice of Action (NOA1)

01-OCT-2010 - Touched, as in case was last updated on this day. Probably due to senator inquiry.

04-OCT-2010 - I130 approved.

Congrats on your approval!!! I also want to thank you for easing my mind a little; that you only sent the bare minimum...I did send photos but no Email or chat logs...Thanks again and Congrats :dance::dance::dance:

Turns out I was approved in 158 days. I was approved on 02-OCT-2010. I called USCIS and found out. So I got a touch on Friday and I was approved on that same day. They didn't mail the letter until Saturday. According to the AVRS. And they took 2 more days to send out the email. Oh well! As long as it all ends up in goodness, who cares.

Senate lady emailed me back noting that she's pleased to know my case was approved. I feel pretty awesome just about now because something else really cool happened today in my life. That on top of the NOA2 last night = awesomebbqsauce.

Congratulation Mary, I am so happy for you, and hope your NVC trip goes faster and smoother. and The same for All vj users who got approved already.

Mary thanks for providing Ruth's number, I've called her twice and she was helpful in a way.

My case got touched 3 times, thought of RFE, when i called Tier1 no help as usual, but when i called her, she just said , the first was for your congressman inquiry, and the two is because they are moving your file , so a adjudicator (forget the name) will work on it, don't know when, but it's was helpful to know rather than start having all those nightmare.

My case now is over 5 months by 2 days and i still can't request an inquiry, so i just have to wait till the end of this week and see , hope I'll hear soon. pray for me guys and for those who are still waiting.
