No. Yes. Yes, don't look at the time line. Although some of us already don't. I look because I'm bored and it gives me something to do. So no one took me up on the "where I'm from" idea. Next!!!!! Ok Tena13, since John hasn't given any ideas and you have been more frequent on here, idea for what we can do to pass the time (instead of ripping our hairs out).

So let me propose something to the March NOA1-ers. Our First deliverable after receipt of NOA2 is the DS 3032. This one is a "No Brainer" I think, But is gets a little more complicated on the DS 230 and the I-864 packets I think. Well here is my proposal or suggestion. Lets get a list together for each of us who want to do this in order of our NOA1 date. Then one by one go down the list. When its your turn post Your Table of Contents List located on your Cover Letters. The Details of your individual forms is still your responsibility we are not reviewing then we are just making sure you have a complete package. Moving on...

That's a great idea, TomD - peer review on stuff is useful, and yer peers are the March 2010 filers. One thing I find to be useful (always) is somewhere towards the end of yer process, you and yer peers have generated enough 'fodder' to be reworked into a wiki entry here - which , of course, helps those coming up behind you.

Good Luck with all, bug yer buddies about this, always !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Well Kayaking is great fun. Your all invited I have plenty of room and if they fill up well its tents in the yard then.. Only dont look for me to cook haha.

On a serious side. Yes I know we have the Cover Letters and that's a great start but that's not the final, I'm ready point. As we all know, the devil is in the details. That's what gets us. With each of these items listed on a Cover Letter there are little points to remember and do. This would remind us of those points. So we should expand our thinking and dig the devil out of his hiding place.

That's why I finished cutting the grass and will be going midnight Kayaking. I can look up at the stars & Dream of the Days to come. It also helps me sleep when I get home.lol I am glad the we have summer upon us. It allows us the opportunity to get out and away from the house. If I am here to much I will sit and eat and gain weight and my mind and internet kills me.:blink::thumbs:

Lets have someone start and we can all look at it. Who is going to go first? Who has a NOA1 date of March 1st? Please let us know if you are willing to start this process :)

COMMENT 1: make sure you get PCC from each of the cities you lived in for more than 6 months. If your passport is issued less than 6 months from your interview date, then you dont need to get it from all places. Just from the passport office where the passport was issued.

 Original/Certified of Peru's specific jail record certificate (lack there of) and a copy

-Translation of said doc

-Original/Certified of Peru's specific judicial record (lack there of)

-I-864 [6] completed & signed by petitioner which is the Main Sponser I will submit this

-IRS Tax information - 1 year is required, up to 3 years may help. I will submit 3 years

-Tax Transcripts, optional but may help. Call the IRS to get it FREE! 1 (800) 829-1040

W-2s and/or 1099s I will submit this-1040 from most recent tax year (2009)

-Pay stubs for current year (6 months should do)

-Employment letter showing your income and position. Make sure that position/title is consistent on all forms. I will submit this

Co-Sponsor in same HouseHold: I-864A and all Tax information as above (might be doing this)

-Co-Sponser NOT in same HouseHold: I-864 and all Tax information as above (might be doing this one)The petitioner must ALWAYS submit an I-864....even if there's zero income.

NOTE: Even something as simple as Painter on one form, and Painting on another, could trigger an RFE (Request for Evidence)

-Assets may be used to supplement income (such as bank accounts, equity in a home, but when an automobile is used, the first car may not be used...only 2nd, 3rd, etc)

-Assets of Petitioner are calculated at 1/3rd value. If the Petitioner has $30,000.00 USD in a bank account, they will be given $10,000.00 USD credit toward income requirement.

-Assets of Beneficiary or Sponsor are calculated at 1/5th value. If the Beneficiary has $50,000.00 USD in a bank account, they will be given $10,000.00 USD credit toward income requirement.

-Assets may be used to entirely satisfy the income requirement, but you will still be required to submit the Petitioner's most recent tax return.

Of course...all of these things will be submitted after the first parts of NVC are over:

-Calling to get your case number to be able to put in the top right hand corner of all of the documents and forms you are submitting

-The DS3032 being submitted either by e-mail (by the benficiary) or snail mail or both.

I'm sure there are other things to add....give me some feedback please.

For Peru, I won't be getting a PCC (Passport office clearance). The passport not being expired within 6 months still apllies as does the getting a certificate from places lived at for longer than 6 months since turning 16.

If I knew where everyone lived...not stalker like but pen pal like...I could give us all assignments for sharing something about your state or your little corner of the U.S. Such as: good places to eat in your town and main attractions...stuff like that. I live in Omaha, NE. I haven't lived here forever so I don't know a whole ton about the place. I haven't eaten at many places there that aren't chains found all over the country...so no help there. I also haven't seen much of the city. I do know that the zoo here is supposed to be super awesome (I have been several times but always with little kids so never have been able to see the whole thing). Also the downtown has some draws. I know there has to be something else about here...but I didn't come here for the city. I came here for different reasons.

Does anyone have a definitive POE yet? I know it is so far off but maybe some of this group's SO's have been in the US before and have a preference. Mine has not. So, I know his POE will be where ever is cheapest. :) Luckily there are some nice POE reviews on here to help out with that decision.

For my wife, the POE will be good old Newark, New Jersey. :star:

most 'passport bio pages' are bilingual, english and some other language. if you have any english on the bio page of the passport, no translation necessary.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Im a little worried about the PCC. Guess the local station and passport office in India wont give my wife her PCC until she shows them the letter that comes with her DS-230.

She recently just had her passport updated and from what i hear they do a police check before issuing new passports. Will NVC accept just that for now and then maybe show the PCC at the interview?

Its the ONLY missing piece i have currently. grr
