Well not only are you a great VJ member, you inspire others to be great as well. You have been a blessing to many. As Indigo Skies suggested, I will stay and give whatever help I can give to people coming in as clueless as I was. Sleep? I think i went to bed at 4:30am and woke up at 7 saying yahoooooooooo :dance: Maybe I guess I will sleep early tonight.

two aril filer's got approved........8th april, 1st april.......Congrats to them.......good sing that it's moving

Our date is right in the middle...maybe we'll get our NOA2 before we head on a mini-vacation to Chicago for the weekend.

Yeah I will be active again on this thread. I'm not as brilliant as many members on this thread. I had to really focus and handle my NVC process like a newborn baby with lots of love and attention.

Also, Instead of flying her to the Medical then back home and then back for an interview, Someone gave me the wonderful Idea of setting her up with an Apartment in Manila. She hasn't seen a doctor since who knows when, so she must get her exam at least 2 weeks in advance. Found some Great places where people are renting condos for a month completely furnished in the heart of Manila at half the cost of a 2 week's stay in a nice hotel. This way there is no rushing, no back and forth to her province, and she has all the time she need between her medical and her interview.

Enjoy the city life, malls and restaurants all she can. Because once she arrive in the US, we will be eating salami sandwiches for about 6 months I need time to rebuild financially. :blink:

LOL Salami is good for me...lol None of us are as smart as it seems. Sometimes just look at our post. We give advice like crazy but when its our turn to roll we are asking for it... Human nature I guess. I know that how I felt once I needed to do something I froze up a little.

If she like the apartments you found let me know cause I have some good friends who are going in Dec Jan and they are always lookin for a deal. They stay down in Makati area near Jupiter and Makati Ave but they have to pay about $2000 a night per room. Just sent a PM.

Now back to waiting for the interview letter....

not sure what that means...but we called the USCIS about a week ago and they said to call back at the end of September if we haven't heard anything.

you should call again and tell them that you have been waiting for over 5 months. U have to tell them that your NOA1 date is April 6th. I would suggest you try calling again.

My husband explained everything, including our NOA1 date. Apparently, she just kept stating that "we are within the normal processing timeframe" even though my husband clearly stated numerous times that we are over 5 months. She said they are processing March 16th filers (which we know is not true), and that if we haven't received anything by the end of the month to call back.

My husband and I agreed that we will not be harassing these people every week. We will call back if we haven't heard anything by the end of September. We are fortunate enough to live 30 minutes away from each other and see each other 4 times a week..as much as this Visa is a priority for us, we will not be calling 3 times a week to check in on our status.

Because i was able to open a request and they said another 45 days from september 8th,2010. So for me i cant do much until end of october. Which will be close 8 months.

Not sure about what? The information we received? I doubt she would be giving us any wrong information and I know they can't give too much information. My husband asked if tehy was anything else we can do, and she just said wait. I'll stick to what she said and wait for our NOA2 until the end of the month, if we haven't heard anything then we will be placing another phone call.

With April filers now getting NOA2s, I'm positive that something will happen for us soon.

hey everyone how are you all doing....update....my husband and i tracked the pacakge for CSC and they recieved it today now i am waiting for that call from Ruth it is still early there at CSC....a three hour difference....anyway if she dont call me by 4 or 4:30 there time i will call her to find out what is going on again and the senators aid is checking it out tomorrow first thing with her contact at CSC to make sure things are going to go smoothely....so pray for us and if i find out anything else tonite i will post another update from my husband and i....Inshaallah....May God Guide us and Bless us .......

Another day gone by without any updates. Looks like we wont be seeing anything anytime soon. Most likely they have reached their goal for the number of visas for this fiscal year. Just thinking out loud might not be the case. So I think i will just give up hope of getting anything until October. Good luck to others.

Sorry to see that everything has stopped at the USCIS... What a impossible situation. Hang in there people and try not to despair. This too will pass...
