There were couple of more april filers that got approved yesterday. But no news on my end. Going to hit 6 months since CSC received my case in 12 days.

Where? I don't see any new April filer's getting approved this week. Last two were from 09/08/2010.

They must've just now updated their timeline. Cuz I didn't see them on Igor's List 30 minutes ago. Also, I only see one of them in Igor's List. The other one hasn't showed up in it yet.

It looks like more and more people are getting their approvals in five 'n' half months. That's all right I guess. As long as the wait isn't too unbearable or too long.

It has been It has been almost four and half month since I saw my wife. I miss her quite a lot. Although I'm not in a desperate stage yet. Plus, I have plans to go visit her soon, even before the whole visa process is done.

I'm sure you already called a senator or congressperson about your case. Did they say anything or find out anything for you? I fear that you might have gotten an RFE (I really hope not) but they haven't told you about it yet. Like Marie_Yahya.

Why aren't you contacting them? Google your senator and go to their website. You'll find something about case work on his or her site. Then you'll probably a form and a phone number. Call and pretend like you have never contacted them before until you get the immigration liaison officer. Explain and kindly request a call back either way in a reasonable amount of time. If they don't call you back, you call them again. You have two senators and bunch of congressperson. If one doesn't work, use another. For some reason I think senators have more weight than congressperson.

Thing is i am afraid that if i keep bothering them, i will definitely get hit with a RFE and I dont want that right now. That will just delay the whole process by about a month to two months. I was hoping to have my wife come here end of december but now it doesn't look like it will happen. February sounds to be more realistic.

Your fear is unfounded. Calling someone once a week is hardly bothering them. Plus, you'll be calling the senator/congressperson. They cannot tell USCIS to slaps on an RFE is you don't merit one. Dude, call your senator again. You said you called them a month ago. It's really time to call them again.
