OH man! haha no I haven't got any RFE's and neither want it......It's just that I was explaning Marie....about RFE replies...and how it is handled at USCIS.....by officers.....

But what is it with the approvals.......this week.....seems like it's a shut down

07-19-2021 - received message from NVC about case can not be processed unless all civil documents are submitted (was missing police clearance)

08-12-2021 - submitted police clearance certificate - which was last document submitted to NVC

11-05-2021 - Case completed at NVC - DQ

03-31-2022 - Interview letter received

04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy

07-19-2021 - received message from NVC about case can not be processed unless all civil documents are submitted (was missing police clearance)

08-12-2021 - submitted police clearance certificate - which was last document submitted to NVC

11-05-2021 - Case completed at NVC - DQ

03-31-2022 - Interview letter received

04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy

Hi all i'm trying to get a hold of a live person using the USCIS number 1-800-375-5283 and they just give me an automated update. Is there a specific sequence I have to push to get to someone? Better yet does CSC have a direct line to contact? Thanks :-)

The trick is once you call press the buttons that makes it so that you are requesting for a form and you don't know what form you need. I believe after chosing English, you chose option 2. Then go from there. You'd get a live person. I'm gonna try it out now and I'll reply back.

Okay, so i just called. I spoke to a "very mechanical" rep who informed me that she took it a little further since i was so close to the five months. She said that they are currently working on March 19th and i should call back in a month. Gee, thanks. :bonk: So frustrated right now. :wacko:

okay just called and "Oscar" basically just read his prompter that says I'm still under normal processing times and that the time can be shorter or longer then what they tell us based on blah blah blah...Bull Sh*t!! :blink: OMG this is sooo freakin frustrating!!! He had no info on how to reach a direct line with CSC and i said yea that's a pretty broad statement to make and asked for specifics and he said that's all he has to say :angry:

Anyways, is there a number for CSC anyone??? Please share this magic number so I can talk to someone with a clue! :bonk:

On a positive note: Let's send out some good vibes to light the fire under their arses!!

if you need specifics, ask for an ISO.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Well our NOA1 was March 12th and I have yet to hear anything from them, so I don't even know how truthful they are being by saying they are working on March 19th. My case still says "Initial Review", no touches, no RFEs, nothing....very depressing.

When I called on August 12th (which was 5 months after my filing date), they told me that they were working on February 16th and that I should call back around September 24th. I am calling on September 12th (6 months after my filing date) to see if they can at least put in a request for investigation.
