hello everyone, we got our NOA2 today..both I-130 and I-129f dated Aug. 30, 2010...... i still feel like i'm dreaming.. i'm so happy!!! i hope there will be more approval soon..

It gives me an immense joy to share with you few minutes ago, try to enter the payment page NVC and to my surprise my happy.

Congrats to the approvals and SIF.

Its 150th day since noa1 for me and Still nothing. Service request opened but nothing so far in 4 business days. Oh well now I can just hope to have something when I return :)

yes i did yesterday so now we are just getting everything together...i sent them some originals so i am just waiting on other copies that i sent USCIS already...anyway we are going to make them sorry they asked for this....we have almost 4 years of everything.....thank you for thinking of us...

Couldn't get any additional (positive) information out of him.

Tier 1 Customer Service Representatives (CSRs):

Can

Relay basic immigration information to customers through scripts provided by USCIS

Answer questions about USCIS forms

Transfer calls to Tier 2 in certain circumstances

Cannot

Answer specific questions about a case with the exception of information available through Case Status Online

Transfer calls to local offices or service centers where cases are pending

Provide legal advice

Tier 2 Immigration Service Officers (ISOs):

Can

Review USCIS systems on your case

Request that notices be re-issued

Provide information that you may receive at an Infopass appointment

Provide specialized assistance to dependents or active members of the U.S. Armed Forces

Provide information on pending and adjudicated cases.

Cannot

Review already issued Requests for Evidence (RFEs)

Directly issue duplicate notices, receipt notices, RFE notices

Transfer calls to local offices or service centers

Provide legal advice

So, why don't you try to escalate to Tier 2 ISO? But, if you look at closely, Tier 1 will transfer to Tier 2 in certain circumstances :star:

Got transferred to Tier 2 last week. But during call today, this USCIS "person" would not transfer me. I asked several times.

That is the frustrating part, among other things.

Greg - If you have a service request in, then calling everyday might not help at all. Might as well just call once a week and try to see what is going on. And during that call try to get to TIER 2. Just my thoughts. I haven't called all this week and wont be calling next week either. Next week I know there wont be much going on because of the long weekend. Good luck anyway and hope everyone gets the approval soon.
