Marie, There are a few surprised like the plane tickets or proof of travel and things like that but I am guessing that they are asking for that because you fail to provide sufficient documentation in the beginning. All or most of what I read was known to us when you put together our I 130. Many of us submitted this documentation then which supported our claims of marriage and having a prior relationship. I think you are or have made some assumptions early on in this process and now it biting you. Again its fixable provided you have the documentation but its going to take some work on both of your parts to do this. It will also take time which unfortunately you have no control over now. Going forward I would pay more attention to the detail as that is where the devil lye's. Just keep doing your best or get help from someone who is detail oriented. Remember its never what you think it should be its about what they want and are asking for. Good Luck

Good morning everyone omg i can not believe how these people work in USCIS they are full of ###### omg we got an e-mail thismorning i am still crying from it they said they needed more evidernce omg when they got the file and took the money they should have sent this out when they looked at the case...but lazy they are and now we have to wait more...i wrote my senator to see if they can find out what papers they need i will over nite it to CSC and i am still waiting for Ruth to call me and myabe i can overnite it to her.....all this time not right this is sick they do this to people....i am soooooooooooooooooooooooo:o:o:o in shock from how these people work...anyway now we know....have a good day everyone.....as many times as they touched our case in 5 months and they never said a word my heart is in my mouth... more months from my husband omg i can not bare this.....

Hi Everybody I hope all is going well with you, as we all know that USCIS has too many applications to work on, I know its hard to wait for such a long period of time, but we have to understand that people work on our petetions have bosses on them and bosses have big bosses on them and big bosses have bigger bosses on them and this chain never stops, My point is that these people have to follow the procedures to do their job where they have to follow the rules and regulations they are given, just providing you link where you can read the rules and procedures they have to follow to work on I-130 petitions, So you guys will have an idea what they go through everyday, like we do our jobs they are doing their jobs, they dont have to do anything with our personal and emotional stuff, We all are just like good and normal citizens for them, we never seen them and they never met us, they just make decision on the basis of paperwork and proof we provide them for our relationship, I wish good luck for all of us, and pray that we get unite with our loved ones ASAP.

As much as I'm anxious to get this next step done, I am no means completely stressing out over it. I can't control anything about this. We did all the paperwork properly, sent in plenty of documents that support our marriage, and checked everything over 20 times. We are lucky enough to only live 30 minutes away from each other and as much as living seperately has been difficult, we have made the best of it and I am convinced it has strengthened our relationship.

I truly sympathized with those of you that live thousands of miles from each other....but stressing out too much isn't going to make this go by faster, it'll just be harder.

Let's keep hoping and having fingers crossed for one another that we will hear something soon.

p.s. My husband will be calling on Sept 7th if we haven't heard anything yet. :P

Met in 2004 at a Dave Matthews Band concert, started dating November 2005, engaged February 2009 and married November 14, 2009. Together in the US on March 19th 2011
