If u get a touced does it mean anything? u think it's okay for the benificiary to call and ask?

A series of touches in a row usually indicates case will be complete soon. That said some people receive their approval or denial without any touches.

If called for only status update, beneficiary and petitioner can call. All they ask to verify who you are is simply nothing. Just give them a case number and they’re happy to spout of what’s in front of them, on their screen. For anything more involved, only a petitioner can call.

Will we ever get approved? I think that immigration attorney was right that we wont get approved until september or october. last week in august here and then labor day so it seems like it will never happen here. but i want to see a lot of approvals here. so i will be optimistic.

Count yourself blessed if you get approved within 5 months of your NOA1.

I agree with you IndigoSkies. Right now I believe you have to wait at least 5 months to get something. I am at day 143..and another 7 days and i will be calling.

Call now. It wouldn't hurt. Also ask them what day's application they are processing now. I called last week and they told me they are processing March 16th's application.

I did and they are like CSC doesn't tell us what dates they r working on. I was like OK thanks for the help (sarcastically)

Good morning everyone well i checked case status and so far they touched us again so i am hopeing today is the big day for some good news pray and keep your fingers crossed this is horrible waiting like this...but God gives us no more then we can handle i guesssss...anyway i will update as we go along have a great day

i was touched last week wednesday thursday and friday. i sent a letter on thursday. friday i sent my mother's medical bills and a summary from medicare on her condition and heart attack. i called yesterday to see if they received my fax and they told me that i would hear from them by phone or by email. i have yet to hear by any. who knows it probably wasn't a reason to expedite. my mother is better now and we are waiting for the tests to see if she needs a pacemaker now.

i have to tell you that this whole process is unbelievable. i think what they are doing is trying to get caught up with everything. i think all the old petitions are being worked on and getting approved. there are some people waiting two years or so. i think nvc is getting caught up also so i think we will see them starting to approve the petitions soon.
