another week of no approvals nice. well my mother had suffered another setback the other day with her heart condition. in 9 months she has more problems then anyone i know. so i called the uscis because i am the only one that takes care of her and since tax season is coming in 4 months i asked them if i can expedite it. i need my wife here because when she was here she went to help her on weekends and everything. i need to run my businessand take care of my house right now and my kids and cook dinner and all that. so i explained i am running to see her also. that it is hard on me with all this. she lives an hour away. i need to go see clients. so they gave me an a fax number and i faxed a letter to them explaining what happened since my wife was here last year and everything. they sent a response that i need to provide proof because they wanted my mother to go back into the hospital again but she didn't want to go and hopefully she will be ok. right now she is. but she has had kidney problems from this and had blockages in the neck also and a triple bypass in the last 9 months. they did tests now to see if she needs a pacemaker also. really, i do not know how much more mother can take. she almost fainted in the shower because her heart rate was very low. i explained to the uscis that i need my wife here that i can't do everything. my sister lives in new jersey. if anything happens to my mother i will go crazy because i love her dearly.

i was touched the last two days. i asked them if it warranted an expediting process. i explained i need to see clients and run around for my mother also to see her. so i asked them if i could fax them bills or something from the doctor. i haven't heard anything since the fax but at least i know they have my file. i told them if nothing can be done to please put the letter i sent into my file so they will understand why last year we couldn't do the adjustment of status.

Thanks Loto. Sep 3rd for just a week. Planning on going back end of november again if i get my vacation approved.

1 week is not a problem. My concern was if your case is approved and forwarded to NVC, it will be delay from your part, if you take long vacation. November vacation is good since you both can come back together after her interview.

Sorry to hear that Rich. Hope your mother gets well soon and she doesn't suffer this much in the future. Anyway, hope you get ur approval soon and have ur wife with you in the next month or so with the expedite.

I doubt i will be able to bring her back in november either. Right now Mumbai consulate is very very busy due to bro/sis visas getting approved like there is no tomorrow. So getting an interview takes about 2 months. So if i do the math, unless i get my case approved next week, i wont be able to bring my wife with me.

thanks john. but i don't know if this can be expedited for this. i will find out i guess. the woman almost died and in fact we were up in new jersey at the time and the dpoctore told me if i had driven her home she would have died in the car. every month though there is another procedure being done on her. but again i do not know if this warrants an expediting petition but at least i tried and they have my information.

Probably, I will be the first client of this "expert" attorney, since it is second GC. I am prepared for any RFE from USCIS/NVC or AP at Consulate Interview.

Oh man, the best ones charge $600 per hour!!! But I am ready to pay it, if required.

But, for simple matters like what should I fill Q22 of this form, attorney is not needed

Wow that's a lot of money per hour to spend. This is for a lawyer who is only processing papers for you and probably giving it off to a aid once your done talking to them. Its not like you're a criminal headed for a trial. This is VISA Application 101, information gathering (Which you will do most of), filling out forms and packaging it.

I am assuming there is no guarantee on any level of success. I know some very good criminal lawyers and I dont think their rate are that high. Hopefully you can avoid this insane bill.

Does anyone know how long it takes to have the DS 3032 processed? I got the AOS billed and paid it already, mailed the I 864 already as well. They received the 3032 on 8/9 but it hasn't been processed yet, and no IV bill has been generated. I'm starting to panic!
