I am not contradicting, you may try for all the options. But even the first lady is also helpless in immigration matters.

I personally don't like this big delay by USCIS to bring our spouses to the U.S. At least they should make it faster to bring US citizen's spouses. A brand new H1B guy can bring his/her spouse along with him/her immediately in H4 dependent visa.

Sorry if I hurt you any ways!

Loto

Im with you Loto... Take care of USC families first. I can't even believe there is a question about that.

You will not speak directly to him/her. They all have web sites now so type in their name in Google and you should be able to find their web site and it will provide you with contact information. Good luck

last year I had to contact the congressman. I went to his office, (no appt), spoke to a case worker on the spot. She took copy's of all the documents I brought that showed the USCIS screw up.....I had a response from her within a week and a follow up from her a month later. I can't say that they helped move the case along, but it did give me a little peace of mind. I got stuck in AP in NVC for 30 days after waiting over 6 months for an NOA 2.

Well what i did is i looked in the pink pages in my phone book they have the list...now there are two kinds of senators so you have to get the one for your state and that takes care of your district now i have two in virginia that i will use if one fails....and as far as the congressmen i did that last year to but you will get more done wtih the senator.....it is the U.S. Senator you want then you call and you will speak to his or her aid and you will fax or e-mail the info from your case to them...or sometimes they will fax or mail you an authorization form to fill it out and fax it or mail it back to them and then they will do it....DO NOT CALL THE STATE SENATOR.... ONLY THE U.S. SENATOR they have the priority to get that federal info for you good luck ......

Hi,

I filed my I-130 on february 14. and received a letter with case # since then nothing moved, i am so frustrated. website where i check status just says: Initial review- On February 22, 2010, we received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice.

I called imigration on july 24th and my call was escalated to an immigration officer and they said there is good news and my case has been assigned to someone and is being reviewed. now 3 weeks passed and still nothing.. Seems like this will be the 3th Christmas that we wont be able to spend together:) nothing moves at all..

Thank you! I am afraid that Boxer and Feinstein have many more important things to do than bother with my I-130 application, but I guess it is the only option left.

I know its a pain but Get your thoughs together. Make a list of questions and facts to discuss with them.. You see the timelines for the people here. Your way out of the normal time line so call everyday speak to supervisors and ask why... What do they need for you to do. WHy have they singled you out and so on... Squeaking wheel gets the grease...

GOOD LUCK
