Thank you so much Inshaallah this is the only way to go God is the one who makes all the days for us and tomorrow is the day.....I just pray he gives us more patients to get threw this journey...

folks, I'm still waiting! My wife got approved, but my step son has not. We have an NOA-1 date of 4/16 for him. So I'm right there with ya. I know the stress level.... I want to see April approvals fly...... believe me....... because I know his will bring an RFE...... which will only set us back even further...... I'm gonna have to hold up NVC, just to get him caught up....... Hang in there........Your NOA-2's gotta be just around the corner.

Simply, I think they are playing with us......

when I received the initial denial, I sent a letter asking them to process them together, linking her NOA-1 number to his.... but obviously that didn't work because she got approved and I haven't heard anything for him, but remember, his NOA-1 was 15-20 days later then hers...... don't ask me why..... but that is what I have hard copy's on. Even though the day I received the denial, I sent the letter along with the required paperwork overnight.

I was advised by someone on here, that NVC sets the date for the interview, and if my wife's paperwork pushes through, I will have no choice but to contact and hold up her completion until his is at least linked to hers.

Cant you expedite your step-sons case?

I do not know...... If someone has all the wisdom in their pocket, please share..... I would like to know.

I would call USCIS and ask them for an expedite based on your wife's approval and your stepson being a minor. Hopefully they will approve it thinking what happens if the mom gets the visa and the son is left behind. Just thinking out load.

Usually, according to Igor's List, only about 80% of a month's cases are ever approved. Currently March has about 75% approval. Still 5% left to go to meet that 80% mark. I'd think these 5% need to be completed before they slowly trickle down to April's files.
