It was crazy really. My wife has never been in the USA. we sent all evidence we could but I was asked to send in more information concerning owning property together, bank accounts etc... It was all information that can not be provided since she has never been here. I contacted an attorney and he told me to send them everything I had. Every email, every picture. Every chat session etc... He told me to send them a box if I could and that is what I did.

In the event they do not accept it the attorney told me to call him back.

But this is where I am right now.

humm...that's called USCIS harrasement policy.....wish you come over with this easily...

06-06-2021 - Recevied NVC case no. - case entered into nvc's system

06-08-2021 - AOS fee
06-08-2021 - IV fee
07-05-2021 - IV & AOS documents submitted online

07-19-2021 - received message from NVC about case can not be processed unless all civil documents are submitted (was missing police clearance)

08-12-2021 - submitted police clearance certificate - which was last document submitted to NVC

11-05-2021 - Case completed at NVC - DQ

03-31-2022 - Interview letter received

04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy

hey everyone got the mail today nothing again called USCIS the officer said wait til the 5 month mark by then you dont hear from us please call again this is almost everytime i call damn....anyway hoping for an e-mail....I asked the basics if they were requesting evidence they said no that was not an dissue either omg but when the hell is this going to be over.....I cried most of the day this is horrible to make us wait like this I wish for one moment they could be in our shoes then i think there assssssssssssssssses would move alittle faster huh....anyway the anger is emerging again, sorry people anyway just hoping the few of us left by the grace of God will put us out of our misery....

Sorry to hear that marie_yahya. No one seems to know what is going on with the processing but even I am waiting for 4 months and 1 day now. So I am not that far away from your waiting period. We just have to be prepared for the next stages just in case. So for now good luck and hope u hear soon.

march1- Sure, you can send in a hand written DS230 as long as it is legible and make sure that you sign it in blue ink and use ink that won't smudge and all of that good stuff.

i was talking to someone today that went in for their citizenship today and someone else also and they told me that the reason there is a complete slowdown is because of the arizona situation. that the president doesn't know what to do with this situationa nd this is why they are behind with everything. i don't know if this is true or not but it sounded good.
