04-28-2022 - Interview date at mumbai embassy

Nope not very familiar with the area. Just go there to meet relatives with my parents. So have no clue about most of the areas. The only place i know is Karelibaug and waghodia road and now New sama road. :D

Oh ok ...that is totally opposite side ..... old padra road is close .. from where i live...i m sure you must have heard it...

Anyone here think the passport office would issue the PCC if they saw the paid invoice for IV?

NO they won't.

Doubt it. My in-laws just went there to get their PCC and they wouldn't give it to them because the checklist first page didnt have their names on it. So they had to tell them that "LOOK AT THE OTHER PAGES, IT HAS OUR NAMES ON IT" argued for 30 mins before they accepted the application for it.

yup i heard of it but dont know if i have even been there. I dont usually stay in vadodara but have been visiting a lot lately :D

Congrats Kayo!!! Hopefully by the end of the night we will hear from a few others on approvals. i guess they are coming in the mail and they are behind in sending them out. Has anyone for april been at least touched yet?

Well hello to all of my march family memebers. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I had a long weekend at work, but now I am back to sitting here at the computer checking to see if I have any kind of notice from USCIS. And of course NOTHING!!!! LOL!!!!!!!

Well I am down to 10 more days before my application is past the 5 month processing time. It sure would be nice to hear something this week.

I was reading a Jan filer post that was talking about how they still have not received there NOA2. Now that is really sad and upsetting. Since that person says that they have contacted USCIS and was told that they just need to wait another 30 to 45 days. I am sorry but something is really wrong with how they treat people that take the initative to get married first as a way to show the government that the couple is really wanting to be with each other.

Maybe I am just ranting here, but for years the K-1 visas have always been processed faster then an IR1/CR1 visa. I feel that it should be the other way around and that K-1 visas should have to wait longer to get an approval.

anthony i agree with you but i can see why they take longer than the k-1's. i would think because the k-1 is a temporary visa. that means they have to get married within the thirty days and they still have to go throught the aos and an interview which they could be told to get out at that point. we on the other hand bypass all that so i understand why they take so long but in the past it was quick and easy approvals and for some reason they are holding off on approvals for march and everyone else.

Maybe I jinx the rest of the march and april filers when I applied for my wife :bonk: Maybe they saw my application and said to themselves " I think since he has applied lets all take a break for the next 5 months and not do any work :rofl: . Sorry I guess I should have used my code name so that we would have all been approved by now. :rofl:

lol. but i agree that this is taking way to long to be approved. it is like they are doing little by little just to get them done. they are doing what they need to do to get by. i would say there is a good truly 15-18 approvals for march that needs to be done but let's face it some would be approved with april. there is no reason that some of aprils have not been approved yet. they are saying it is 5 months but this is like a nightmare. next month is their year end also.
