If I m looking at it correctly I don't see the dates matching up for us. May b I m wrong

There is a country limit for visas. If you look up the state department web site. It gives you the breakdown for allowed visas to be issued per country. But for immediate relatives you still get priority over the number of visas issued. T

That is what I gathered from ready the visa bulletin

Good point Anthony but if they are only doing a few thousand a month based on what we see here then I know more are getting in legally via other ways. Political Asylum, Hardship or God only knows... These also eat up the so called quota. Yet they have given amnesty to 5 million illegals in the past and are prepared to give amnesty to 10 million more... Go figure.

oh to add to my story that i forgot to say. we went to nj in october and we went to a giants football game and we were called in the game that my mother had a heart attack and in fact the doctor said if i had driven my mother back home to florida she would have died along the way. so needless to say we went to the county clerk in november and just had a simple wedding. no dress no honeymoon nothing because of all this mess. then the holidays came and everything. so what can we do. but i miss my wife very very much. especially when you love with someone for that long and they go back. i saw her in june and now plan to go see her in october. hopefully i can go.

Exactly my point also.

But from reading it I figured that it is telling you that 2A would be USC filing for spouses. Which in turn would make us exempt to the visa chargeability per country limits.

but again you might be right Tom, maybe it is just another way our government just does to keep us quiet and not say anything.

Best way to keep people from complaining is to publish some useless information that does not make any sense so that we will feel stupid and to scared to ask.

i am looking at the CSC k-1 visas and they aren't been approved either so maybe they r mailing approvals out. i wouldn't be surprised.

Can somebody explain me why Processing time shows 6 April for csc but Igors List shows no april approvals yet?

Who knows? What I do know is I loved hanging out in the Gas Lamp District and Balboa Park... SD is one of my favorite places...Enjoy your time at work...

No i understand that you are waiting from CSC. what i was trying to say is that they are approving k-1's at VSC like crazy so that will ahve to slow down soon because they are almost done through June and some of July but they are sending them to NVC also so i don't know why they would slow us down then if they are behind. the only thing i can say about the k-1's is that they go through NVC and no paperwork goes to the NVC from us. we bring the paperwork to the consulate whereas the marriage petitions we are sending info to NVC. this could be why there is a hold up. the economy is down so maybe there aren't as many employees or theya re on vacation or whatever.

IMO.... they are on vacation. There isn't a govt agency (federal that is) that scaled back or laid off employees....

There are two things that I really miss about the US:

1) My husband

2) Mexican food!

(not necessarily in that order)

My hubby sent me jello pudding cos I think it's delicious and I am loving my jello pudding.

I wish that it was easier to get good lamb in the US, and a meat pie wouldn't go astray. When I'm in the US I miss eating lots of lamb. I also miss CRUMPETS!

What do other people miss about the US, and what do you expect to miss when you move there from your home country? (for the USC, answer for your spouses)
