but what i have a problem with is that they were just about in march as of april 30th if you go back and look. then they did a complete crawl. i wouldn't be upset if they were in april already. but to still be in march and not one april filer getting approved makes me speechless. three months to get through march. and who knows if we are still through it. i would think that they will approve some april filers this week but again who knows. how can vsc be working on july filers already for k-1's and we are still waiting in april and march still. the background checjks are long over with already. they take up to 30 days. this is the only problem i have here. if they were in april i would be happy and some of march are getting approved also. the remainder but no april at all are being approved. this is crazy. the people in may are going to wait forever at this pace.

Seems to me all of us should have submitted our paperwork 1-2 months earlier. Seems things have slowed down after by the end of Feb. Just our luck... I Tried to submit in the beginning of Feb. but I was in PI and the Embassy told me to wait till I got back to the states. BASTARDS... :bonk::bonk::blush::huh: What really hurts is I was trying to not be a difficult customer and let them lead me... without a challenge ...:crying:

Tom- Sorry to burst your bubble but unless you have been married to your lovely spouse for 2 years by the time she steps foot on U.S. soil, you will have to do ROC (Removal of Conditions) 30 days before the 2 year mark of her visa stamp :(. Maybe we can all meet up again and have ROC parties :P.

russ and mary- I hope you can get your NOA2 soon and that your little family can be reunited quickly!

anthonyddiggs1- You are so close to Laguna Niguel, you should just drive there and demand the NOA2!

Hopefully there will be some good news tomorrow and some "Oh wow, my NOA2 date is from last week" 's tomomrrow!

Trust me Teya if I could I would. And then I would tell them to send out all the other March and April filers from here there approvals. Hell I would even offer to help work on the rest of the applications so people could get their approvals. Just call it my civil duty at a citizen

Yeah but then people would search us out and plead us to finish their case before others.

I don't think I could actually work there. I would get fired after seeing the others being so lazy and not working on people's applications.

I think if I was to work there, I would have to be a supervisor. That way I could walk around with a big stick like the teachers used to due in school and when I saw that a worker was not doing their work. I would take the stick and smack their desk to get their attention that I mean business :bonk::rofl:

There is a country limit for visas. If you look up the state department web site. It gives you the breakdown for allowed visas to be issued per country. But for immediate relatives you still get priority over the number of visas issued. T

That is what I gathered from ready the visa bulletin

I really dont know but I would think the country your from would most definitely have some influence. I would, as a USC, hope that it would considering the world we live in. But with the liberal way the US conducts business, I would guess not.

I do however think Haiti has more to do with it because of the damage done to that country although I think the people have damaged it more than the earthquake ever did.

I also wonder how other country where people wish to immigrate to handle it. I know after 9/11 things changed everywhere. THANK YOU VERY MUCH SAUDI

no i dont think it has to do with a country at all i just think they are lazy and they just make it harder to see if you are going to go through with it and why i say this you know it is funny they give all these visa's out to some people who do not deserve it and why i say this is cos either they are just coming and they change there minds cos then they realize there spouses culture is not what they expected or they are here working so much that they never spend time together what kind of marriage is that or they give visa;s to the school or artist and others that are to be the right ones to get it first and here we sit waiting and waiting and if we had our spouses we would be so damn happy and loving like a real family.....but they dont see that and it is a shame but give someone a visa who will waist it and the time of there marriage with someone til they say oooh i did not know it was this way ###### that is horrible but soooooooooo true.....

Once she was here last year I am guessing you didn't marry her so she had to return. Wow isn't it nice to see our system is improving and becoming more proficient... I wish I was allowed the same standard when I was working. :crying:

no tom d. we were married in the three months but what happened my mom had a heart attack in nj and my mom lived in florida. i took her with my wife to nj but we were married on november third. while we were up there my mom had the heart attack. we were waiting for my mom to get back to ahve a wedding but she never came back until january because of the triple bypass surgery. then it was my tax season obviously i am an accountant. so iw as so busy we never could adjust the status. then when we were able to adjust the status she had an emergency at home and had to go back. so that is why we reapplied for the marriage visa. we were married here. everything was ok. but her family member was real sick and thought they were going to die so she needed to go abck. it was a mess. not a good way to start a marriage to be honest.
