Our application was received on 9th april, but NOA-1 Date is 16th April. I don't think we can do much over here, they have their policy and they will just go by that. Sometimes they give NOA-1 date same as received date and sometime don't because of the way they get each case in hand everyday.

I just want an approval within next 2-3 weeks that's all. lol

TY for the response guys. guess i have to wait a little bit more. It sucks though :(

Im glad my hubby is always there for me to cheer me up (L)

That touch came because the Senator office called. It doens't mean much. Everytime a Senator's office calls USCIS, they call an immigration officer. If an immigration officer so much as views your case, it get's updated/touched. And that's what you are seeing. You're due for approval any days now. So don't worry. It's coming shortly. Hopefully before Ramadhan.

This is not meant toward anyone. This is a rant, an observation. Why do you people feel so impatient about this whole immigration process? I don't understand this because I personally don't feel the way some of you people. You count days, weeks, and months to be united with your spouse. Do you *need* someone that much to be happy? I have fallen in love with my wife and I miss her and I want her. But I don't feel the same amount of neediness that that most people exude here. My wife will be here when she's here. Meanwhile, life goes on for me. I do the things I used to do and do newer things. I am taking road-trips, going to picnic, work, etc. Between now and the time your spouse joins you, there are only a few precious months of being somewhat single. Don’t fret too much about this stuff.

Give or take, the whole immigration process takes a year. Set your expectation accordingly and enjoy life. Supposedly you waited your whole life for your spouse. Another few months would only add to that long waiting which means your love is that much more strong.

Everyone loves different and it also is culture, (n how you grow and the concept of love you have) I am happy cus my hubby loves me so much as much as I do love him!!!

I really want to be with him by christams, probably it is not a big deal to you but probably you shouldnt look people here like desperate people. I am not But I do want to be with. and He does too!!!!!!!

those forums are not for criticizing people about how sad or frustarted they are (this is frustrating i think) but to help other people to be positive and to wait in a sane way to be reunited with the loved ones

you know i agree with mary everyone has there own way of loving and really if you think about it we love our husbands and wives the way they should be loved and the process is very long we help eachother get through this as a family here on vj you may think it is going over board by loving someone that much but then again you may have grpwm up where love is just having someone to say you love and you said this process gives you alittle more time before your wife comes to be single well then you might want to take a look at that for your self and really see if you want to be single if you can wait that long or longer.....I know for me my soulmate my heart and soul is with my husband and we are as one not to be apart and separated as long as this process take's us and to be honest even though we know how long it might take our love is something you can not and will not put a time frame on not even USCIS.....

I know. That's why I said this wasn't meant for anyone specifically. Best of luck to everyone and I hope everyone gets what the deserve and gets to be with their loved one soon. You before Christmas, I before UEFA 2012. It's be so sick to talk smack with my wife, while Germany crashes Spain. I was trying to say that don't be too worried. Just relax, enjoy your time apart, and your spouse will get here eventually.

Indigo i disagree with you. it is not about being with the loved ones per say. we all want that but it is about the fact that we have been stuck in march approvals since the end of april. i think all of us just wants to get out of march at this point. we want to see some progress and move to the next month. we all would be patient if that was happening. but when you haven't seen one april approval it gets very discouraging.

You need to wait until you you get your NOA2. Just because it got touched doesn't mean it's going to get approved. You might be getting a RFE. I hope not. But I could happen. Once you get your NOA2. You should give about 2 weeks before you call NVC for a case number. But you can call earlier if that's what you want to do.

I most certainly did. You should wait a reasonable number of days. Then you can start calling everyday. A week sounds resonable enough. Maybe it's two weeks.
