Thanks. I'm really not fishing for, "I should be first" 's. I really wonder who it will be. I'm waiting for some RFE's. I was surprised when they didn't send back my package with a nice rejection letter.

why are you expecting a RFE? Did u do something wrong? I know i am going to get one because of my change in address and i didnt send any proofs (pictures, emails etc) with the application. Just send my marriage certificate. didnt know about this website until after i sent it.

Hi!

My case was filed on 5th March 2010 and I received the mail for NOA ON 20TH March 2010.

I check my status at this page:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do

there has been no movemnet of my status till today(10 May 2010).

I am worried why other peoples case is been touched and mine dosnt show any motion.

Can some one tell me if this is OK?

Am I doing anything wrong that it is not moving further up?

Please inform.

Update your timeline when you can to let us all know where you are in the process. That way you'll show up on Igor's list and you will be able to see when your "expected date of approval" might be.

I think I will get a RFE b/c of nit picky stuff: I printed my photos on regular paper instead of photo paper, I translated my own documents (although several people on here have done that), one of my photocopied documents is front and back and the other is 2 pages instead of one page just front and back, and I didn't use a felt tip pen to write our names on the back of our passport sized photos. I think that was it. I was surprised it wasn't rejected b/c I had made the money order to USCIS and not DHS (also a common thing among people here). I will be happily surprised if I don't get an RFE. I know those things seems a little nit picky but depending on your caseworker.... I also "know" (from reading on here) that NVC is sooooo much pickier than USCIS with forms and having all of your items "just so".

So I e-mailed the 1st address that the operator gave me yesterday and it came back as undeliverable. Nice! So I just sent the same e-mail to the 2nd e-mail address I was given (and also told to wait 21 days for a response from the 1st one). Hahahahahahaha! I hope it works or I will be calling USIC back and letting them know they were wrong with me once again :P.

I am a IR1/CR1 petitioner NOA1 dated March 2nd.

According to the estimated time line on this site, I cannot expect anything for another 22 days.

I got no touches at all after a touch on March 4th, which I think means nothing.

06-17-2010 - NOA2

Your I-130 was APPROVED in 107 days from your NOA1 date.

06-24-2010 - NVC Case Number Assigned

I sorta have a feeling all this might take a little longer than expected.

USCIS gives us a 5months timeline but due to all the 2-3months Jan+Feb -Filers it seems we March-Filers are expecting our approvals within 2-3 months also.

I guess I am just not so sure that we will get that lucky.

I agree with you. I think we will have to wait atleast 3 months before we start seeing any approvals for March filers. So starting June 1st week, i think we should start seeing approvals and if we dont, then we are in for the long haul.
