If you read LIngche's shortcuts, it mentions the following:

I-864 [6] completed & signed by petitioner which is the Main Sponser(ORIGINAL)-- View Sample of Completed Form [7]

IRS Tax information - 1 year is required, up to 3 years may help.

Tax Transcripts, optional but may help. Call the IRS to get it FREE! 1 (800) 829-1040

W-2s and/or 1099s

1040 from most recent tax year

Pay stubs for current year (6 months should do)

Employment letter showing your income and position.

Make sure that position/title is consistent on all forms.

Co-Sponsor in same HouseHold: I-864A and all Tax information as above

Co-Sponser NOT in same HouseHold: I-864 and all Tax information as above

The petitioner must ALWAYS submit an I-864....even if there's zero income.

NOTE: Even something as simple as Painter on one form, and Painting on another, could trigger an RFE (Request for Evidence)

Assets may be used to supplement income (such as bank accounts, equity in a home, but when an automobile is used, the first car may not be used...only 2nd, 3rd, etc)

Assets of Petitioner are calculated at 1/3rd value. If the Petitioner has $30,000.00 USD in a bank account, they will be given $10,000.00 USD credit toward income requirement.

Assets of Beneficiary or Sponsor are calculated at 1/5th value. If the Beneficiary has $50,000.00 USD in a bank account, they will be given $10,000.00 USD credit toward income requirement.

Assets may be used to entirely satisfy the income requirement, but you will still be required to submit the Petitioner's most recent tax return.

To prove the relationship with your spouse, marriage certificate is mandatory. The below are optional documents to prove the relation. However, it is a best practice to include one or more of them.

E. Documentation showing joint ownership or property; or

F. A lease showing joint tenancy of a common residence; or

G. Documentation showing co-mingling of financial resources; or

H. Birth certificate(s) of child(ren) born to you, the petitioner, and your spouse together; or

I. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship. (Each affidavit must contain the full name and address, date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner of beneficiary, if any, and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge of your marriage); or

J. Any other relevant documentation to establish that there is an ongoing marital union.

Don't worry johndoe12, sometimes the decision depends on the officer who handles your case as well. So, probably you may NOT get RFE.

I have included the documents H and I in my I-130 packet.

I included "I", but they sent them back to me with a denial letter for my wife's son-I-130 because I did not send in $355 for him. I only sent in $355 for my wifes I-130. I will be really ticked if I get an RFE for that....

Looks like USCIS has their website issue resolved but no approvals this week

You can resend it with the correct fee again. But, now the chances are very less for both of them to get the interview together.

I resent it long ago. I have an NOA date for him for 4/16/2010. I have heard that when they see the two of them, they will bring the 4/16/2010 up to the 3/21..... but we will see about that..... I don't have much confidence in government employees.

NVC basically schedule the interview at the Consulate. So you can include a special letter to NVC when you send the DS-230 package to arrange the interview together.

i went out all day today figuring when i came back there would be lots of approvals. there isn't any approvals. not again. they ahve to be mailing these things and not using the system because this doesn't make any sense then.

I dont know what to say guys n gals. I just dont. CSC is bring my hopes of getting the approval by first week of august and then it gets shattered.
