I am surprised to hear that your hubby cant get access to the net. He must be at a super isolated FOB because most of the MWR's that I knew of had multiple computers with connection to the Internet. The biggest problem was getting a turn because everyone was using them for Games, skype and so on. He could also check with his command to see if they would give him usage to check.

Hey TomD, I think you misread my post mate. Hubby is overseas so he can't get the NOA2 letter in the mail, since USCIS isn't emailing or updating the website right now, we have no way of knowing whether NOA2 has been sent to us by post until hubby gets back home and collects his mail. As for games, skype and so on... LOL... none of those are available to him, I'm not going to hear his voice again till he gets back. I'm a tough one so it's all good. As we say in Australia "She'll be 'right."

I plan to give the USCIS military hotline a call tonight, to find out whether they can tell us if we have a NOA2 yet. Unfortunately the line is only available between 11pm and 7.30am my time so I'll have to stay up late tonight.

I'm not worried, it'll fall into place soon enough and each extra day is a drop in the ocean. Our relationship is strong, we can get through this... and it's been many, MANY days since we filed, so a lot of the wait is over!

Lots of cheers for the new NOA2 recipients, congrats guys! Wishing for many more before the week is out!!!! :)

No worries :) Thanks TomD!

So, giving the USCIS a call was a bust, they won't give me ANY information as I'm not my husband, the petitioner. So... I need to work on my American accent and lower my pitch a few octaves. LOL Just kidding! I think my American accent is awesome, hubby disagrees though! It's probably just as good as his Aussie accent... that is to say - Terrible.

I'm staying in high spirits, planning a nice weekend out with friends and then the family to keep my mind off all this visa stuff!!! :) I'm just really looking forward to hearing my husbands voice again, that's going to be so much better than any NOA2 news right now... hey, if it's his voice saying "Baby, we got the NOA2", that'll be 7th heaven. :)

Love to all and keep those NOA2s coming March people!

Well it might depend on the panel physician. In Canada I was given the option to keep my lower undergarments on and there was no exam in that area other than a quick visual check. A female nurse did the visual check as well as a breast exam. Perhaps someone with direct experience at the office you will be using will be able to give you more detailed answers.
