March 2010 CR1 filers

i am starting to think that there is something wrong with their system some one else was approved with a k-1 and just was updated and didn't get an approval online but received the hardcopy approval. TJ says she was touched on july 14th and she is an april filer. maybe there are approvals and people aren't updating or maybe they are receiving in the mail. who knows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all,Congratulations on your NOA2! and 2nd,i just wanted to ask you,how do you know yours was touched 3 times,if you had no email or text saying that and even the webesite is still saying initial review?!...i am asking cause we're april filers ours has not been touched even once since the NOA1(we figured if the date under intial review changed of when it was last reviewed then it was touched)how did you know yours was then?...Thanks:)

Hey, thanks for the congrats. The thing about the USCIS site is that the little blue status circles that are on the top of the page when you sign in to your account and click on your case # always said (and still do, actually) "initial review", but the little box with the "last updated" date was changing. I was always under the impression that we were to get email and text notification if someone had touched it, I've had the text/email notifications section turned on since NOA1. But, like others have said, maybe it's not working correctly.

lovesherhubby- I never received e-mails saying that I was touched or anything like that. One of the times that I had called to re-correct my NOA1, they told me that they had sent an e-mail to me about it. Uhhh....nope, they didn't send me any e-mail until the NOA2 in my junk mail . The touches, like Josh said are the "last updated" on the other page of your profile that has your case number (not the one with the blue circles).

I feel like Rick and Bey is right... april will start soon. It has .. so hopefully all marchers or at least most of them will get their Noa2 this week !!!!! Good luck for all and I hope when I get back form work tomorrow find Igor's list with some aprovals

It may also be possible that some of the March filer's who have already got their approval but haven't yet chaged their visa time line. They might be busy in getting their NVC stuff ready. And honestly once your get your NOA-2, everyone wants to gettogather with their family soon. Some don't care about updating their timeline.........

So by the end of this week ... USCIS might start working on April cases. Good LUCK ALL.

WOW what a weekend. Had a great time at the lake/river. I got a little scrape on my ankle from going down the river slide and a darn yellowjacket stung me between my toes when I was walking around with flip flops on ... I see you guys have all been busy too. I received 80 notices in my email from VJ over the weekend. Man O Man I dont think I saw any approval tho, only messages of hope haha. I was looking at a chart and it showed that in March when we first filed there was a large increase in filings. This same trend chart showed lower approval rates for our time also . I think things will seem more active this week and next but I dont think April filers should expect anything just yet. Also remember if you keep telling yourself its bad then It will be bad ...for you... The good news is the opposite is also true... HERE TO A GOOD WEEK RIGHT

hi i saw Igor's List and have the peoples received NOA2 approvals from the date of march 12,13,17,20,15 e.t.c.... my question is i am march 15 still did not received noa2 and donot have REF so uscis working with out sorted

Another Monday; another week. That means more obsessing about my spouse's immigration cases. Argh! I like the weekends more. I rarely think about this visa stuff during the weekend and to be honest, it feels good. I had a blast this weekend. Saturday, I went fishing. Sunday, we had a huge party in our house; there were 40 people over for dinner. The party started at 16:00 and went into the 0200 hours. A bunch of us decided to go watch the movie INCEPTION. Great movie! I loved the whole concept of it so much so that when I came home, I dreamt about continuation of the movie. It was brilliant. Di Caprio doesn't disappoint. Highly recommend INCEPTION to everyone.
