I have seen it mentioned a number of times that the time between the NOA2 and the day of reunification is 120 days. Is this true? My understanding was that NVC processes the paper (around two weeks normally, now around four) and then sends everything to the embassy overseas where they schedule the interview and then issue the paperwork. Is there something I am missing here? How can the process take another four months?

after i told my wife even if we got approved this month we still have to wait another 4 months 2 months in NVC and 2 months till the interview day so that's 4 months then she start crying she always cry and all that i tell her is don't you ever forget what we going through to be together that's the point i kept on checking our status online every 10 minutes and i get INITIAL REVIEW omg i hate when i see it then i log in hoping they gonna update it but nothing we are very angry at this point but like i said to her we are not alone alot people are waiting and

Well I cant just sit here and watch the grass grow. I am off on my camping trip to Rock Island once I pack up my truck. I cut the grass yesterday and the fish are feed. . I refuse to let these low down, dirty rotten scoundrels get to me because of their inability to provide a good service. I just hope I never run into one of them on the street one day. Wow wouldn't they feel wonderful after that haha...

See i know from last year that their year end is september 30th and they need to get so many petitions done by then. i also know they extended the haitian quake visa's also so maybe they are working on them. since the k-1's for vermont is almost up to date then maybe they will send some visa's over to them. they are approving the vermonts k-1's like crazy so i wouldn't be surprised that we get approved very soon.

Ugh, that kills me that im only 1 day behind your NOA1 date yet you got your I-130 approval WAY before me as im still waiting.

Sigh. Good news today is that i called my insurance company and listed me as married, saved $400 a year!

I think we have no other option but to hung in there and show our frustration here. cant call them and have them look at ur case so lets just share our frustration here and get it out of our mind.

Indigo - they r all over the place. So I don't know when I will hear. They will have to go back to march 11-17 noa1 dates. So again just waiting (I hate this word but gotta keep saying it)

Well when I search Igor's list by DATE SENT instead of NOA1 it gives a better picture of whats going on. I really believe that many people are giving wrong NOA dates. We dont see the big gap in the area where NOA 3/11 and 3/12 were. They seem to be handling all petitions sent between March 1 and March 15th.. I felt less like I was being skipped over and now hoping that they are just handling the first half of the month.

Many people are using their Touched date as their NOA1 date. Example: those who sent it on March 2 and have an NOA of March 15th. I am sure their NOA is March 11. Same with those who sent March 3 and have an NOA of March 16th
