You may still get it by early August. They are processing NOA1 from March 26th. That's only 1 week from your NOA1 of 04/02/2010.

Indigo - they r all over the place. So I don't know when I will hear. They will have to go back to march 11-17 noa1 dates. So again just waiting (I hate this word but gotta keep saying it)

apeters i am not complaining but we paid to have this done and we are waiting. the people in the armed forces are getting paid for what they are doing and they choose to be in the armed forces and their wives knows that they are in the arnmed forces. i am not trying to say anything bad here but we paid good money to be thrown to the back burner here. everyday that goes by also some of us help our wives also with money and so good money is leaving our country also while we are waiting. seems to me that all this can be prevented somehow and made easier.

It is my understanding that service people do get special treatment.

Unfortunately this isn't proving to be the case. My US citizen husband is active duty military and we asked for our case to be expedited but we're sitting in the slow line along with everyone else. Whether our case goes any faster will be interesting to see but it's now nearly 4 months since he sent the I-130.

I'm overly anxious to get back to the US, as the months drag on, it won't be very long after I get back that I'm packing him off to war. I want to have a few weeks/months with my hubby before he goes on deployment, so come on USCIS/NVC... pull your finger out!!!!

Today is our 3 year wedding anniversary, so I'm sensitive :)

:) :) :) Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming.

Tj, I think your case will probably be approved for expedite.

I know everyone is screaming WAIT, but for some of us at least for me, I'm fully expecting to wait. I know that mine is going to take longer. There is going to be a "red flag" just for a previous petition ( actually 2-k-1's). Whenever the "red flag" appears in an adjudicators box, it needs to be cleared before approval. I remember reading a little over a year ago an exchange between a former adjudicator and someone on this site interviewing the former adjudicator. That adjudicator was also a member of VJ, and had currently gone through or was going thru the process at that time. Although they could not give specifics, the person did clarify many things that happen and the process of how a case progress's. If anyone could find that, it's certainly worth reading.

Hello to all of my VJ family,

Been awhile since I have been on to post anything. I have been really busy with my summer session. But I just wanted to chime in today and say that I also am starting to get irritated with USCIS. I was looking at my file today and still NO TOUCHES!!!! As of this week, my wife and I have been waiting for 4 months for the NOA2. Now that is just crazy considering I have been seeing all these other people on this site and other around the same file date as me getting approved. And to make mattes worse, next month will be our 1st anniversary. I was really hoping that we would be in the NVC stage by then, but that is truly now just a shot in the dark. I should apologize if it sounds like I am ranting, but I guess this not knowing what is going on is starting to finally take a toll on my emotions :( . Well again to all of you that have been approved recently I want to say your are blessed and just one more step closer to being with your loved ones. To the rest of us here still waiting, I guess all I can stay at this point is let's all try to stay positive and not go insane :bonk:

well said anthony. and you are not ranting because i think all of use is very frustrated because like you said to see all the k-1's being approved and the march filers not being approved or being approved very very very slowly has made all of us on edge and irritated also.
