you are right cali. it is so slow it is unbelievable. but they are approving the k-1's but they even slowed a little with them so you would figure they would come back to us.

hay rich here the graph you want

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard/ProcTimes.do

According to my NOA1, my case got transferred to CSC. I know that they were processing Hatian 130 due to the Haiti quake, I am not sure if that is what slowed this down, and if Haiti earthquake is culprit - then not sure when they will resume normal processing times.

Other things that bothers me, is that all the 130, k1 and k3 end up squeezing thru NVC eventually, if they do speed it up - then NVC might be backlogged.

well marchers there are at least 49 vjer's still to approve. that means at the current pace they are going. all of you wont be approved until the end of august if they are doing 10 a week on vj. that means all of us april filers will be approved at christmas. woohoo... i am ready.
I'm a late April filer. I hope I get approval by end of August as VisaJourey suggest. But each day the time frame moves further and further away. #######. I was supposed get approved in middle of July. Why did USCIS haev to slow down now that of all the human history? Just when I applied. Argh.

I am interested in what kind of assistance your received form your Congressman's office. Did the just brush you off with lots of words but little action or did it sound like they would be able to help you. I knew someone in the service who did this and he told me he was done in 2 months.

It is my understanding that service people do get special treatment.

The congressman, actually one of his "case workers" handled my case. My case was kind of screwed up. I received an RFE for someone else in the mail. No numbers matched up, names obviously didn't match. But both had my name on the top of them. I also received a correctly addressed RFE with names and numbers that matched, for a certified divorce decree from a previous marriage. Because of this screw up, I thought I had a case to present to the case worker.

She was very helpful, at least to calm my nerves, she did exactly what she told me she could do, which wasn't much other than to verify an address, verify that the incorrect RFE had nothing to do with me. She did say that she could not talk directly to the person handling the file, but was assured probably by some supervisor with a "response list" as to where my application was, in backround checks! As far as speeding up the process? I don't believe it. I was only 6-1/2 to 7 months before my NOA-2. Also got tied up for a month in NVC. But honestly, it was the best thing that happened. I would have married a girl that I was very much in love with, but she obviously was not in love with me. The case worker was prompt, and returned calls as promised as she found out information, this took no more than a week if that from the first time I met her until I received an answer from her, and even a month or so later received a follow up call from her to ask how things were going. I don't believe all case workers are molded like that.

Before we complain that it has been so long and we need to be approved right away so we can be with our loved ones, just think of the people in the armed forces that have families, husbands, wifes, that are separated from them for 2 years or longer in some cases. They also have to fear for the safety of them of course because they are in war zones. Yes it is tough, but it could be worse...just stay patient and we all will be with our loved ones before we know it. Good luck to everyone and I hope you all get your NOA2's soon.

7/2/10- NOA1

2/9/11- NOA2 (transferred to Texas)

NVC

2/28/11- case number received

3/2/11- Paid AOS bill

3/5/11- Paid IV bill

3/12/11- expedite to Bogota consulate approved!!!

3/14/11- left NVC to Bogota for further processing

3/17/11- received by Bogota, emailed consulate and was told to send DS-230 and DS-2100 (packet 3)

3/18/11- packet 3 emailed to Bogota consulate, email confirmation on March 23

3/31/11- Interview date! Approved!!!!!!
