Igor's List says 3 more Marcher's got their NOA2. Awesome. Congrats to them. Good luck to everyone else.

there is another one approved but they didn't update their timeline its kapad its in page 134 updating the timelines is gonna help all of us

- Informed by call center. Cost $18 Information received- we need to wait 6-8 weeks from Nov 5th FUBAR.

- VISA APPROVED 12/15/2010

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)

Hi fellow Marchers.. am back today after a kinda week-long journey. I tried for the second PCC that I need... i have a funny story to share..

In the place where i lived for 21 years from birth..theres a weird system. For the district police office to issue me PCC, they need 1. Conduct certificate from a govt officer saying that he knows me for atleast 3 years and that my character and conduct is satisfactory.. (and who will decide the defn of character / conduct..? should I be a non-drinker/ non-smoker ??!! ) 2. Letter from consulate or relevant foreign authority. 3. Notarized copies of passport....

How weird an expression of authority..! All the NVC expects is a 'record check' of the police station if my name exists in their crime files or if there is any history of arrests. And imagine...so much to live with my wife..not to join any monastery!

Thinking..thinking..thinking... Now I guess the police is acting extra-smart there.. one obvious thing is they want bribe money and secondly, for some jobs and some countries, they want a certificate issued post a 'local reputation' check...

So they have decided on some policy like.. 'whoever wants whatever kind of PCC.. come and give us all these set of docs.. we dont have time or will to know who needs what'

In short, no PCC from that place for me..atleast for the time being.

25th March 2010: NOA1 Received
23rd July 2010: I130 Approved
Your I-130 was approved in 120 days from your NOA1 date.

30th July 2010: NVC Received
14th Sept 2010: Case complete at NVC
22nd Oct 2010: Interview date assigned
19th Nov 2010: Interview at 7:30 A.M IST APPROVED
Passport with visa in hand on the same day.

N400 Sent: 31st Oct 2013

NOA1: Nov 4th 2013

Letter for Biometrics recievied with Appt on 12/09/2013: Nov 18th 2013

Biometrics done: Nov 22nd 2013

In line for Interview: Dec 27th 2013

Interview letter received: May 24th 2014

Interview Date: June 26th 2014

Oath Date: November 23rd (After numerous calls and Info pass inquiries to USCIS)

US Passport received: December 12th 2014

Filed for Parents - IR5

NOA1: April 2nd 2015

i don't think im gonna be the next one the touches i got is for the change of address like others told me they have to touch your file for to change the address in the system

If I can read properly, it looks like all of you got lucky!!!! The IV fee just dropped to $330 from $355! Less money to pay. I want a refund!!!!

Now with out any kind of letter/email or text confirmation, just based on the status update online, what can I do right now?How do I call NVC? I mean any one of you can give me the number but how would I identify myself to them?

I sent you a PM with the info that you need. :):

When I read this I thought, "What? When did he get approved? OMG?! Did I miss it? Did I forget? Oh, I feel bad!!!!" But I just checked the March group...how awesome!!!! Big congrats!!!!!! :thumbs:

I received an e-mail from USCIS when my NOA2 was approved. I don't have a cell phone so no text message :P. It seems to be that less and less people are getting an e-mail or text message to find out that they received their NOA2. A hard copy send my mail will be sent to you soon so that is really the only thing you need. :).

To reach the NVC, you have to call 1-603-334-0700. They are busy allllllll of the time so the redial button will become your new friend :P. The NVC will ask you for your USCIS case number (now and every time that you call) and then the AVR (the recorded voice) will tell you if they have your case or not. It should take 7-10 days for them to have a case number ready for you. Of course you can always call and check before that if you want.

How exciting!!!! I hope you can have all of your stuff ready to go so that you can make it through as quickly as possible.
