Hello fellow Marchers,

Just found out that we've received our NOA2!!! I am actually in the UK right now visiting the hubby, and my roommate sent me an email saying that I had received an "official" looking letter from USCIS. After asking her to open it, she read that it was in fact our NOA2 dated July 1st. SUPER EXCITED yet not too impressed with the USCIS. We were signed up for text and email alerts and NOTHING. We got a touch on the 2nd, called them to see if there had been any updates (not knowing that we had already been approved) and they said the same old "no news" #######! UGH!

Anywho...108 days from NOA1 to NOA2. VJ timeline predicted July 6th, just FYI. So...a few days earlier than their predictions. Wooo!

Congrats! Glad to know that someone else didn't get any alerts. I got two touches back on June 18th.. No text alerts, no email.. No NOA2. So I have no idea on what I must think. June ended with a bang, and July has started with a weak fizzle. Maybe they are returning from the holiday vacation.

We cant complain about the issue USCIS is having with email/text. When we sign up for it, they do mention that the system is in initial testing phase and there is no guarantee for it to work all the time. It has been working fine but now it has hit some bumps. So lets just wait for it and we will get our NOA2 in snail mail or email/text (if we are one of the lucky ones )

Lets just stay calm and everyone's time will come.

At least if everyone has to wait for their snail mail version of the NOA2, it will cut the time off of the wait for your case number (not really but it will seem that way because you don't have to wait the full week after getting the e-mail).

Is everyone prepared for NVC? (execpt for the unfortunate PCC situation in India) .

NOW WE HAVE TO EXPECT MORE DELAY BECAUSE EVEN IF PEOPLE ARE APPROVED ITS WILL TAKE UP TO 3 OR 3 DAYS FOR THEM TO GET THE NOA2 IN THE MAIL INSTEAD OF SAME DAY DUE TO USCIS IS NOT WORKING ON SENDING THE APPROVALS ONLINE FIRST MANY PEOPLE GOT APPROVED BUT THEIR CASE STATUS STILL SHOW INITIAL REVIEW WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK

You have a point but remember it takes 7-10 days to get your NVC # after your NOA2 approval so I dont know that this will affect the process time that much. Although it would prolong our waiting anxiety...

Kind of ready. I have my wife fill out the DS230 and ready to go with the Birth, marriage certificate and pics ready to go. However, dont have the PCC and the passport copy yet. I plan on waiting for her to have everything before having her send it over. I dont know if i will receive the approval until middle of august anyway so i can wait and just bring it back with me if i go to see her in september (first week). Just gotta relax until then

No I'm not... I have a question.. Am I to have my wife send all her documents to me and then I mail them to NVC? I read the LingChe shortcut a dozen times, and I'm still not 100% on if she should send all her documents to me or not. Also on the DS-230 it ask if the applicant had any assistance. We did discuss the application line by line during a YM chat. Will there be an issue if she checks yes?

I dont think you need to say YES there. As long as she filled it out by herself it doesn't matter. Not a big issue. I worked with my wife as well with it and I dont plan on saying YES to that question either.

Just need one that shows both your names on it. One orginal and make a copy of it and send that as well.

Dear Sir/Madam:

This letter contains instructions for processing the immigrant visa case of XXXXXXXXXXXXX. We

have received all necessary Immigrant Visa fees for this case.

Each traveling applicant must now complete Applicant Document Processing. Please go to the Department of

State website at the following address: www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov. Click on the Applicant Document

Processing link and follow the instructions.

Please pay close attention to the requirements for police certificates found on the referenced web pages. In some

cases, there may be specific Police Certificate Request forms that must be submitted in order to properly request

and obtain the applicable Police Certificate(s) based on your residence history.

As part of the Applicant Document Process, each traveling applicant will be required to return a DS-230,

Application for Immigrant Visa, to the National Visa Center at the following address.

It just says photo copy of the original marriage certificate and the original. Doesn't say anything about being notarized. However, I would say have a couple of notarized copy of it in hand, just in case.

That's exactly what I am trying to find out what it looks like. If i can find something then i know what to look for. Anyone know anything about it?

I guess there are no updates today either. Two straight days without any approvals via email/text. lets hope we see a bunch of them on Monday as people start receiving the snail mail

There was an approval. If he wishes to step forward then awesome! Don't worry, it isn't a time line that needs to be updated . Congrats to you anon!!!! Tomorrow is still another possible day for good news!!!! C'mon USCIS!!!!!
