I guess I fit this crowd. I received my NOA1 March 18th. No word yet so i am waiting patiently like the rest of you. I have seen many though who filed I-129 get fast approvals. While I am happy for them I do not see the logic in making married couples wait longer. I think it should be the other way around. Oh Well. Hopefully everyone will soon get their NOA2

Hello fellow Marchers,

Just found out that we've received our NOA2!!! I am actually in the UK right now visiting the hubby, and my roommate sent me an email saying that I had received an "official" looking letter from USCIS. After asking her to open it, she read that it was in fact our NOA2 dated July 1st. SUPER EXCITED yet not too impressed with the USCIS. We were signed up for text and email alerts and NOTHING. We got a touch on the 2nd, called them to see if there had been any updates (not knowing that we had already been approved) and they said the same old "no news" #######! UGH!

Anywho...108 days from NOA1 to NOA2. VJ timeline predicted July 6th, just FYI. So...a few days earlier than their predictions. Wooo!

Good luck to everyone! Looks like it might be moving finally!

I think that they approve the K1's because they receive more money for that. They pay now, they pay at the interview, they pay 90 days from being here, and on one person's time line, I saw ROC. That is more money than we have to shell out. I agree that married people's petitions should be approved first for many reasons but it doesn't pay them very much.

I hope we can get some good news before this week is up!

Congrats Jess&Daniel!!!! How awesome for you!!!! I guess one good thing of not knowing until now, is that you don't have to wait as long to get your case number. :P That must've been nice to share the good news with your husband in person. I hope you can fly through the NVC stage (although that has seemed to slow down a bit as well).

Welcome Ravens. Hopefully USCIS will pick back up and give you good news soon!

The Jesal and Tena- How nice that you will get to spend some time with your loved ones! Hopefully USCIS will surprise you Tena and give you good news before you head back up here.

The Jesal-I hope you can get some good news before you go there and be able to be almost done by the time you get back if not bringing her home with you. Don't forget to have the house all nice if you do get to bring her back! :).

CONGRATS!!! Yes the USCIS does not exactly exemplify confidence and proficiency...WOW no email notification. DOGS !!!

With regards to Family Members VISA processing, they state that they have priority... So much for honesty but then I think they put their statement together focusing on what sounds good and not whats practiced... Geeh I hope or wish someone from the USCIS drops in from time to time and reads this stuff...

That's good that you are all ready for the next stage (except for having your bills paid)! Don't forget to update us if you get that NOA2 while with your hubby.
