Thanks for that. I got a report that USCIS is relaxing their RFE policy because it has been slowing down the system. I get updates from the USCIS Ombudsman, and it talked about how many of the RFE issues are unnecessary. And how they are asking their agents to avoid RFEs if possible.

Here one of the sources. It was a link to the email update I received. There is a section on RFEs http://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/cisomb_2010_annual_report_to_congress.pdf I may have to cancel my subscription to the updates. Because every time I go to my email and see USCIS I almost have a heart attack thinking it is concerning my petition.

Good news indeed Rich & Bey. It is getting closer to us. But we have to remember that CSC will go back to the other cases that they might have not touched or approved. So the best bet for us to get our NOA2 would be early to middle of August. If we get it in July, no complaints at all. Will be glad to have it in hand.

Thanks. The two touches I got two weeks ago.. I never received Email or text alerts. I'm a bit concerned that If there is something happening, will I be notified? I guess the answer is "of course" but I'm so flustered that it makes my mind think of many reasons why I've been overlooked CSC hates me

i am a little disappointed that they only approved one case yesterday. Come on USCIS or VJers who havent updated their timelines.

It's true but you have to understand that out of total applications they received in march or any month, we are not the only one, there are other's who are not even here on VJ......so there may be more approvals in reality......but since not everyone is a memebr of VJ....we can't predict well.

I read that pdf. It's pack full of information that will calm your nerve if you are waiting on the edge of your seat for approvals.

Yeah it did make me feel a bit better after reading through it. If the Ombudsman isn't feeling our pain, he's certainly aware of it. The fact that many of his meetings were recent, it lead me to believe that many of his changes are only rolling out now. I'm glad to see approvals picking up speed, even though I'm yet to be one of the lucky ones.

I understand that but just saying. we were seeing a bunch of approvals and then it just stopped so u know feeling a little disappointed. But overall the past two weeks saw almost 16 approvals here at VJ. So that is definitely a good sign.

Yeah I know that frustration,,,,,,it's just too much wait period......i don't know why it's 5 months....they have to change this policy ... hehe
