when should we go get the PCC? i want everything early so there is no problems. my wife wants to wait but it takes two weeks tog et it. so i figure now is the time to start thinking about getting it.

wait till u get ur NOA2, then u get 2 weeks to get ur case number. So u will have that time to do it. I would wait for it.

Can your spouse email the police certificates to us or do they have to mail it? this willt ake another week to ten days for this.

need originals and a copy to go with the DS230 form.

Last year with the k-1 they ahd the case number within three days. i don't know if it willt ake two weeks. i will tell her to go soon and get it because even if we are approved in august i will still have it early enough. because i do not know if she can email it to me and they will accept and we will still ahve to wait for mail also.

Congrats to all of you who have just recently received your NOA2's. I am getting excited about seeing the approvals moving to Mid Marchers, but don't want to be premature ... haha Just remember to keep us late bloomers posted on your progress. Especially those things that tripped you up or that you almost missed. Also any curve balls that the NVC might throw at you during you next phase of this long journey... In other words dont forget where you came from and hold our hands!!

NO, NVC requires orignal. Make sure you make copies of PCC and have it certified by government authorities, so that just incase if NVC looses the orignal certificate or misplace by anychange, you have a certified copy of PCC to show it to the interivew. As PCC will not be issued again for next 6 months.

I was gone for almost 3 hours and a few more pages added on here. I am glad that the conversation is flowing and that everyone is getting involved in helping others out. I would read something and think, "Ok, this is what I will say...oh. Nevermind, so and so answered that already." Good good.

I hope tomorrow USCIS will push more people into NVC. I second what Tom said. Please let us know what happens in the next part of your journey and don't forget about the rest of everyone else.

It would be so nice if we could just e-mail everything is like GUZ and MON and the Turkmenistan Embassies. That would save much time and money for sure. I hear you Rich with having to have everything take a while to receive and then sent up to you. Then again, since we are all in the same boat, it sucks about as equally for all of us. Except, of course, our Indian friends who have to wait for a special paper requesting they send in a form that they didn't send in because they couldn't send it in. How much sense does that make??!?!?!

wow lots of stuff going on here! hehe

first she needs to send in the ds3032 right after noa2 right? then we need to send in the ds230 man the 864 with tax returns? the only thing that is a copy is my birth certificate and hers but i have the translation stamped on it but it is a copy from last year. should i have it translated again? they accepted it last year. the marriage certificate and other stuff is original. i have passport photos also.

i think a translation is fine for any length of time. if it's notarized it should be good!

Teya - can you share what was sent to you via email as far as instructions or checklist is concerned with the DS230 that you need to send. If you dont mind. I am trying to figure out at what point do you get the checklist from NVC. This will help me decide on how to get all the documentation from my wife. Thanks.

Other than that, they haven't sent me anything. I know that for the interview they send you something but we are def not there yet. If I get RFE's (which won't surprise me) I will make sure and post them for everyone to point and laugh at. Ok...sooo I hope not really laugh at.

Guys i need help regarding DS3032 form... NVC mailed the form to my husband but i already sent all my docs needed for DS230 including the form DS230.. could i possibly send the DS3032( filled up) to my husband's email? for him to send it together with other docs and DS230. Help!!!
