first she needs to send in the ds3032 right after noa2 right? then we need to send in the ds230 man the 864 with tax returns? the only thing that is a copy is my birth certificate and hers but i have the translation stamped on it but it is a copy from last year. should i have it translated again? they accepted it last year. the marriage certificate and other stuff is original. i have passport photos also.

No its not a RFE. i asked a member from gujarat who got his certificate from Ahmedabad after NVC mailed them just the cheklist.

So when you show that they will give the PCC without any problems. So atleast that will not delay the process now.

When do we get the checklist? Any idea? Lets say we pay the IV bill and the 864 bill? Then is the checklist generated and emailed right away?

you will get the passport clearance once you have the checklist without any problems. so dont worry.

ak205 we have almost the same timeline we sent our in the march16 as well our noa1 is march24 we had a touch march 26 so we should hear something around the same time what was your last touch on uscis

If it was accepted last time then i wouldn't think it to be an issue.

I m not sure about it but they will email you the checklist. So what i m gonna do is keep everything ready in a week and just wait to attach the PCC(which i ll get only after the checklist) and send everything together to my husband.

yes i think we should be getting our approvals together. Last touch was of 27th March.

I m so looking forward for the approval before this month end.

No I think cheaklist is different from RFE. They will send an email or paper by mail, which will consist of things that needs to go with DS-230. That is called cheaklist.

Ahmedabad PCC office, will require this cheaklist or interview appointment letter, to get pcc. As we need to submit PCC with DS-230 submission, the cheaklist is good enough for ahmedabad pcc office, to issue PCC. Fee for that is 300 Rs. Passport copies, photos, orignal passport, PCC application form. - they will send you certificate and passport in registered mail.

when should we go get the PCC? i want everything early so there is no problems. my wife wants to wait but it takes two weeks tog et it. so i figure now is the time to start thinking about getting it.

I am also in the same boat, Hope we all get NOA-2's soon. Sharing info, will help getting all us there soon. Afterall we all want to unite or reunite with our spouse's. lol....good luck

Can your spouse email the police certificates to us or do they have to mail it? this willt ake another week to ten days for this.
