I'd like to thank Tom D, Indigo Skies, The Jesal, Johndoe, Russ and Mary, Rich and Bey, Marie_yahya and especially TEYAVALENTINA for accepting me in this group. Tolerating my rants, and impatience. Giving me tips and making me feel that i can do it without a lawyer. My wife has her Interview date of OCTOBER 20. I know God is with us, but Its in her hands now. I've done all I can do. With the help of many people in this group, I manage to do what seemed impossible before I joined this group. I know I've been gone for awhile but after I got my NOA2, I had to really focus to kick that can across the finish line. Thank you all so very much. I was truly lucky to find this wonderful group. :crying:

  oh yeahhh   got the interview date   unhhh hunnnh   watch me dance na   Getting busy na   who's your daddy na   I'm the daddy na   big daddy na

Oh yeah. I got mentioned specifically, by name. Awesome. *wipes tears* Congrats. I hope rest of the ways is easier and quicker and definitely more blissful. I'm so happy for ya'. Don't abandon VJ after you're all done. Stay.

Update: Tried contacting senator's office again with no luck. Goes straight to voicemail. Do you guys have any idea who else i can contact if I live in NJ? Both senators have the same number for the immigration liaison. Not helping at all. :(

looks like it. This really sucks. I mean i will be hitting 6months mark on the 26th (received date) and still nothing. Just waiting and more waiting. The more i wait, the more i think i am going to get hit with RFE.

Called them yesterday and they said they are still working on received date of March 16th. They asked me to call back in 2-3 weeks. I have been hearing that for over a month one. So dont believe that for a dime.

Why don't you call a neighbouring state's senator office. Pick a state that doesn't have a lot of immigrant. Don't pick NY. I'm sure they're as busy as NJ. Call Delaware's senators. It can't hurt to try. The senators work for not only their State's citizen but the citizens of the whole country. The worst that can happen is they'll tell you that they can't help you. So give it a shot. You can try the congresspersons of New Jersey. They're what like 13 of them, right?

That March 16th date is hella stupid. We've been hearing that for months now. It's not true. They're working on April's applications now. Since we are seeing more and more Apiller's getting approved.

Well if they say RECEIVED DATE: MARCH 16 .... then it's the date when application was received/delivered .....but notice date is when they actually prepared NOA-1.

so sometimes NOA-1 NOTICE DATE is later than RECEIVED DATE. So assuming that we can say they are working on march end cases as notice date.

I called one of these Ruths from Marie's suggestion. She was pretty rude. I think once Marie puts the number here, eveyone bombards the lady with call. So she gets annoyed. You won't get an RFE unless you deserve it. You and I don't live or operate at Ruth's or anyone else's whim. This is a free country with rule of law. Don't be afraid. If you get an RFE, it's because you deserve it. They'll explain why you got the RFE and I'm quite sure the reason isn't going to be "because you made Ruth mad." Good luck. Edited by IndigoSkies

Yeah I will be active again on this thread. I'm not as brilliant as many members on this thread. I had to really focus and handle my NVC process like a newborn baby with lots of love and attention.

Also, Instead of flying her to the Medical then back home and then back for an interview, Someone gave me the wonderful Idea of setting her up with an Apartment in Manila. She hasn't seen a doctor since who knows when, so she must get her exam at least 2 weeks in advance. Found some Great places where people are renting condos for a month completely furnished in the heart of Manila at half the cost of a 2 week's stay in a nice hotel. This way there is no rushing, no back and forth to her province, and she has all the time she need between her medical and her interview.

Enjoy the city life, malls and restaurants all she can. Because once she arrive in the US, we will be eating salami sandwiches for about 6 months  I need time to rebuild financially.
