Hi Everyone

I received in my E-mail a copy of the DS-3032 with instructions to pay the Affidavit of Support (AOS) fee. I have already paid the fee, but I am confused about the DS-3032 form. In another document included with the DS-3032 it says "So that you, as the petitioner, can understand any questions that the applicant may have about the DS-3032, we have enclosed a copy of it for you." Does this mean that my wife should be expecting the real DS-3032 to be sent to her.

The beneficiary will mail her choice of agent.

She/he has three options:

1) Send it in letter format as found on the VJ wiki via email.

2) Fill in the form, scan it and send it as PDF attachment.

3) Mail the hardcopy form.

Once this form is accepted, the IV bill will become available to be paid.

Good luck.

Yer wife MIGHT get one, might not.

suggest you SEND , via email, the one that YOU have, to her. have her fill it out, SIGN IT (with her English Passport Name, not in Arabic, not in Urdu, not in Persian or Farsi ) and send it back to NVC, via postal mail or DHL/Fedex/UPS/EMS , with her signature on it. She prolly can do EMS easily in Afghanistan - less than 10 days from Afghanistan to NVC, via EMS.

ignore Sachinky's step 2 - it's wrong for Afghanistan.

Here's some steps for you -

read it a few times, until it makes sense (click the link, ya? )

and Good Luck !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Do as Darnell says. :)

Your wife will receive the DS3032 in her email. Ask her to email it back in letter format that can be found in the guides. Will take 1-3 days to be accepted.

Good luck
